Changed out two locks, made 8 keys and did some extra work, without charging extra for it. The locks had been difficult to use, now they operate very well due to adjustments he made. In addition to adding deadbolts and rekeying everything to the same key, Bill also straightened a door to sit better in its frame. On the day we moved in, I realized I'd forgotten about the shed, which we didn't have a key for at all. Bill came out soon on the same day as my urgent call, added a deadbolt, and changed out the locking door knob for a nonlocking knob. Problem solved, Then he secured the overhead shed door for us as well. We were really pleased and relieved to have all this taken care of so easily, and everything was super clean when he finished

"Pros - The scheduling went smoothly (though there was a bit of a miscommunication in the cons section). Re-Keying the house proceeded in under two hours. Max arrived in a mask and was respectful for distancing. When the job was done, they took payment over the phone (since I had to run to work). Reasonable price for professional work. Called me to clarify where to leave the keys instead of making any assumptions. Cons The only thing that knocked them down from being a full A was in scheduling. The person I spoke with mentioned that they would "be there between 9 and 10 am". The problem there is the ambiguity in the statement. Being there can mean arriving, as well as the entirety of the period in which a person would need to be at the house. When I was called to clear up the final location of the keys, I provided the same feedback, which they received very well, and mentioned would be passed on to the team.

"There was some miscommunication on my first call. The representative was vague about when we could get service, and apparently wrote down our phone number wrong, there was no follow-up. I called again three days later, and got a very prompt response. We asked the technician to re-key one lock and replace two others with locks using the same key. While completely willing to do the work, he told us we could save money by buying a lock set at a hardware store, asking them to re-key it for free, and installing it ourselves. He told us about the markup they had to charge on hardware, which did not apply to locks bought retail. He offered to come back if we had problems, or say we could call the office for help over the phone in case of problems. We did do the work ourselves at considerable savings. Reasonable cost, very friendly and helpful, and (obviously) trustworthiness to the max.
