His prices are fair, and when he realized I needed some repairs, he told me immediately along with the price. He made a lot of additional little repairs at no cost, and now my doors close/latch better, and my locks will last longer. He is very straightforward about what needs to be done, and he will give his opinion and tips on various locks to help you stay as safe as possible.

If there was an A++++ rating I would give it! This is the lock expert! I ended up changing all of my locks. Well worth the time & money to have the job done right with high=quality safe locks.

Bill was professional and went above and beyond to complete the job. He left the house locks and door handles in better shape than they were when he arrived.

He was running early and called to see if he could come then. We were home so he came and fixed the door quickly and professionally. He also recommended that if this happens again we should just replace the door since it was a set up he had never seen before.

What a dream! He arrived exactly on time. He asked a few questions, quickly re-keyed the new lock to match all our other door locks and installed the new lock. He even changed the battery on our front door key-less entry lock at no extra charge. He's friendly, knowledgeable, and over-all a really good guy!

Excellent. Bill Lehr is able to do it all. The blank key to front and back door deadbolts fit the front storm door lock, so it only had to be rekeyed. For the back door to the attached garage, there was no lock in the handle, so a new handle with lock was found by Mr. Lehr. He pointed out that the handle lock was not as secure as a stand-alone dead bolt. But we wanted something that was easy to lock when walking the dog. We close the garage overhead door, which has a keypad, and use the deadbolt in addition to handle lock when leaving by car.

My experience with The Lock Doc was great. He was on time. He had everything in his truck. He was fast and efficient. I don't remember the cost of the service, I would think that was pretty reasonable.

Everything went great. They showed up on time and all the costs disclosed were up front. (Beware some companies will charge a service call AND trip charge and spring the trip charge on you.) Even threw in some extra keys. Definitely call again if needed.

Upon describing my problem, Bill asked me to send photographs of the work needing to be done. He called me back promptly and was able to diagnose the problem over the phone. I needed the work to be done and he offered to come by immediately. He arrived promptly and quickly completed my work. When asked for his opinion re: the necessity of additional work, he answered honestly and advised against it, even though it would have provided add'l income for his business. I very much appreciated his candor and honesty and would highly recommend him and his business, LockDoc.

Bill is an exceptional locksmith. Had never used him before, but looked up reviews on his business on Angie's List and was very impressed with what I read. I called him and thought for sure it would more expensive than having him come on a weekday, but it was not. He arrived exactly when he said he would. People such as him are hard to find in this day and age. Bill knows his craft very well and gave me very good advice on other things. Never made me feel like I was bothering him when I asked him questions and answered any and all concerns I had. I now only have to worry about using one key for indoor and outside doors for front and back instead of fumbling for more than one key. It is refreshing to know that there are people such as him that do such good work and are not out just for the almighty dollar, but truly care about helping people. His pricing is very reasonable, he comes when he says he'll be there and does very, very good work. Cleaned everything up when the job was completed. Made extra keys for me and gave me a senior citizen discount. There are many businesses and employees that could learn a lot from Bill as far as how to run a business and how to treat your customers. I hope he is around for a very long time. People like him are hard to find. I will definitely call him and only him when I need locksmith services. He arrived within an hour of my phone call. He took about an 3/4 hour to change the locks. Very courteous and professional. Would use again.
