We specialize in outdoor living structures - decks and deck railings, screen porches, and pergolas - as well as any miscellaneous carpentry repairs you may have. Please let us know the nature of your project and we'd be happy to help! FIX’M Home Repairs, LLC has been serving the Middleton, Madison and immediate surrounding area since 1990. Please contact us through Angie's List or on our website for fastest service. Please be aware, we are currently booked several months in advance and as such, are unable to help with any short-notice projects at this time - we appreciate your understanding.

Very good repairman came, on time, had great suggestions on how to accomplish what we needed. Did the work he could do that day, and did it well. This company is a bit pricey, but I have no complaints about anything else.

The staff person who helped us, Bruce, was very nice and friendly, extremely helpful, and a pleasure to work with. He did a great and through job of installing accessible door handles, and making sure they met my needs. As a wheelchair user with limited ability it is a wonderful thing to find a company and staff who are so helpful and thorough.

I couldn't be happier. Isn't the small things like a door or a drawer that doesn't close that drive you crazy? I had a wish list of items and Bruce checked everything off the list. He got the jobs done so quickly, I added a few more and he was happy to take care of things. I had questions about a couple of window issues, and he outlined how they could be fixed, so I'm fixing on setting up my next appointment. Bruce was on time, professional and took extra care of all the little details. He will be my "go to" guy.

Very well. The project was quoted on a time and and materials basis, and they kept to the deposit. The carpenter that performed the work was professional and attentive.

I had a short list of minor home repairs to do before selling my house including changing out two light fixtures, rescreening a door and two windows, putting down some door trim, and a couple of other small tasks. In the 4.5 hours he was here, the technician only accomplished one task. He was extremely slow and at no point did I feel confident that he knew what he was doing. It took him that whole time to put trim down in an approximately 10 x 4 area by the front door. When he was finished I noted damage to the flooring he had caused with the nail gun and he shrugged and said he didn't know why that happened and maybe I could just color it in with a magic marker, then left. Overall, the quality of the work is decided poor. When I received a bill for over $400 my husband and I laughed out loud. I would never, ever, under any circumstances recommend or consider rehiring this company.

Bruce, the "Handyman" showed up on time and was very detailed in the process. Reviewed the work site, made an assessment and then laid out the plan. He checked in with me twice to ensure that what he planned on doing was correct. Great work and super nice guy. Even offered to clean the driveway as he left a little snow on the ground from his truck. Great work, great communication and rapid response. Will def use again and HIGHLY recommend.

It went great. They got right back to me and a couple days later their guy had come and fixed it. No mess, no fuss. Just super. We couldn't be happier with Fix'm. If we need another home repair I know who I'm calling.

Mike was wonderful! He fixed things we thought we should be able to do, but we never did them. Plus, Mike did the trips to stores for supplies that we would have put off.

The work was not up to their usual standards, and we had to have them return a number of times to correct blatant mistakes. They didn't seem to know the product and left raw edges where finished edges were available. When we realized that they had neglected to install screening beneath the balcony to keep insects from entering the screened porch, we asked them to return. Although we had specifically asked them to include the screening in the original work, we offered to pay for the correction. They did not return our calls. We cannot leave our door to the screened porch open to our home, because of all the insects on the porch.

We had Fix'm remodel a bathroom - replacing vinyl tile with ceramic, putting in a new vanity, replacing a light fixture and fan, replacing a toilet, and putting up beadboard. They were fantastic to work with, from start to finish, and our bathroom looks absolutely amazing. It was very nice having them coordinate the carpentry, flooring, plumbing, and electrical work vs. hiring individual contractors ourselves - made the process totally seamless.

Jeff performed the work very professionally. He was also very knowledgeable and skilled in carpentry and helpful in determining the best steps to take to get the best match to older siding. Would definitely hire again!
