Estimate was a bit low and should have given more time line for things we cannot control like inspections other than that they did a most excellent job with building a deck with footings! Their craftsmanship was outstanding!

Good service and fair price

We had him replace out door from the garage to our house. Excellent work. It was done in a timely manner and the cost was so reasonable. I would highly recommend him. Weâ ll probably hire him for other work around our house.

John was fantastic and professional from start to finish. He was very understanding of my situation, of when I had to fire another contractor because of job abandonment. With John expertise and knowledge he was able to fix all of prior errors and complete the job in a timely manner. My fence looks beautiful and passed inspection with no issues.

John installed crown and base molding throughout entire kitchen. He drywalled areas where walls had been removed and arches expanded. He was very efficient, professional, and completed the job as agreed on time and within budget. We will use him in the future for other remodeling projects!

I hired JDC Contracting for a full kitchen remodel, along with small updates throughout my house (new lighting, replacement of interior doors, a new ceiling in the basement, bathroom updates, and numerous other things). John did nearly all of the work himself. He did a wonderful job and our house looks fabulous! I can't say enough about JDC. John is skillful, completely accountable, and fair and honest in pricing. Hiring JDC is a a collaborative project from start to finish. He took the time to hear our ideas, provide sound, practical input, and put together a good, workable plan. After discussing things (every step along the way), John turned what we wanted into reality. He's also kind and a pleasure to work with. I really enjoy interacting with him. I had received estimates from two other kitchen contractors. John was the third contractor that provided one. He really impressed me with his attention to detail, his knowledge, his demeanor, and his being up front about process, pricing, and so on. He left a great impression, so I hired him in late November. John transformed the small, enclosed kitchen into an open concept kitchen that's bright, spacious, and inviting. This was the first time that my wife and I were involved in a major remodel. In December, we were so happy with how the kitchen project was going that we asked John to do additional work on the house. We wanted to squeeze in some more work at our house before he got too busy with other customers' projects. The additional work included the door replacements, as well as partial updates of the bathrooms and basement. He is an HVAC expert, so he also gave great advice on how to maintain and extend the life of our older HVAC system and other mechanicals. His advice is saving us a lot of money. John does such terrific, fairly priced work, we would totally have gone with JDC for full updates of the bathrooms and basement, but we didn't have the finances. So we decided to go forward with partial updates that really changed the 2 bathrooms and basement, while allowing us to stay within our budget. We're grateful to John for these secondary projects--and his ideas for them--because they have given us a lot more living space, and have made the bathrooms much more pleasant to use. We recently purchased the home in Oct. 2022 and we initially had a 3-5 year timeline for improving the kitchen, bathrooms, and basements. But John shortened this timeline down to a 2-month time frame (around 35 days of actual work--there were a couple of delays on materials that slowed us down). We moved in a week ago and are loving it! In sum, I strongly recommend JDC for home improvement projects. John is highly skilled and has integrity and tons of expertise and experience. Most important, he genuinely enjoys making his customers happy by improving their homes. He went the extra mile for us and has definitely made my family and me happy!

John Moore (JDC Contracting ) worked harder than any contractor we've ever hired. He was conscientious and detail oriented. His work was precise, professional, on time and UNDER budget. Costs were very reasonable and far less than other bids we got, for the exact same level materials. We plan to have him back for another project and won' t bother to get bids from competitors as we know they won't match his cost and quality.

We had a furnace replaced by Shane. He was very professional about everything, was willing to do what he could to get our heat back on and gave us a good price for the work done. I definitely recommend JDC contracting for HVAC repair and replacement.

John was very knowledgeable on fixing the vent issues we reported.

Replaced old wood siding with new to match rest of the house, and painted whole house. Looks great. Also replaced some soffit and fascia.

The cost of labor was absurd.

JDC construction started the job on time as was scheduled. John was hard working and knowledgeable of his project. Deck replacement was completed as projected. John was great to work. He takes pride in his work. I would refer him to others for any project.

I cannot say enough positive things about JDC contracting! By far the best contractor I have ever worked with. From the pricing, to the quality, to the customer service, all stellar! John was so great to work with! He always explained thinhs to me and kept me updated on his progress. I have had some really bad experiences with other contracts and John restored my faith! I will never use another contractor!

Repair deck

John is conscientious, knowledgeable, and kind hearted. We had some issues that needed to be fixed that were not part of the original scope, but John just took care of the problems. Professional in every sense.
