We needed a couple of locks rekeyed. We were able to make an appointment for the next week and the locksmith arrived at the time scheduled. He worked steadily and had the work done in no time. There was a problem with the credit card reader so we provided a check for the service. But the credit card went through anyway. Locksmith mailed back our check and a receipt so very good follow-up. I would hire again.

They were on time for the appointment, and they repaired the cabinet quickly. They were punctual, courteous, and very reasonably priced.

Badger removed the lock from the trailer door and made the mold for the key; I picked it up the next day! The folks there were friendly courteous and efficient.

The receptionist was very professional. I had to reschedule after making an appointment and they were very accommodating. The locksmith was courteous and professional and did a good job. He went above and beyond when he found some worn springs which he replaced free of charge.

When I was locked out I called three locksmiths and Badger Key and Security was the only one that answered. It was late in the evening and he arrived in 15 minutes and promptly got me back in my house. I had just moved in recently and he pointed out that the garage doors were not very secure as they did not have deadbolt locks. Two days later I learned from a neighbor that the house had been broken into through the garage doors a year ago. The previous owners had installed a security system but had not added deadbolts. I had Badger Key and Security return to do so. He was very professional and did an excellent job in installing three locks and keying them to my existing house key. He cleaned up nicely after the job and everything is working well. The price felt a bit steep but I didn't compare with any other company so it may be in line with what others would charge.

Need quick change of front door lock. Technician advised it would be easier, cheaper and faster to just re-key. He did it and it was fine. Good work.

First of all, I called them late at night to leave a message asking for a quote, and I was surprised when someone answered the phone! The service guy was great. Very accommodating and knowledgeable. Would definitely hire again.

We had first looked at Madison Locksmiths and were intrigued by the MUL-T-LOCKs, but decided that was a bit much and it would be a COMPLETE HASSLE to have only a MUL-T-LOCK provider come should we ever get locked out. What if we didn't like their services and we were stuck with them solely because they were a specialty lock service center? Anyway, we decided to go to to Badger Key, and they were absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Of course, we picked out a non-standard color AND lever so Badger did not keep them in stock. They were having a ton of trouble trying to find this lock and told us they'd call around. (We wanted the locks installed asap, and were not willing to wait the 3+ weeks it was going to take the manufacturer to make them.) So, we decided to shop around and went to a couple different places, including Home Depot to see if we could purchase locks and have Badger install them. We could not find locks that we liked (or were the quality we were looking for) at Home Depot, and no where in town could get the locks we wanted for a reasonable price. As we were looking, we got a call from Badger who had called just about everyone they could think of. They found the locks we wanted from some no-where place in Denver. Awesome! It was only after we got home that we realized we had a knob plate on the front door that didn't match the lock we just purchased. We called Badger, and they actually sent someone out to look at everything to get it set up. Double awesome! On the day of installation, the guy showed up on time and work very efficiently. We couldn't have asked for more. They were great.

It went fine. Having bought a new house, we decided to re-key the locks and add some new ones. We received prompt, same day service, professionally done.

Badger Key has the best prices in town; they are knowledgeable, efficient, and honest. I'm glad they moved to Middleton from downtown, the West side badly need a good key shop.
