Since 1946, Batzner has provided guaranteed protection against pests, bed bugs and small wildlife control at residential and commercial locations. Dedicated to quality and relentless about continuous improvement, we are focused on making the pest control experience easy, convenient and hassle-free. Our cost-effective, environmentally-responsible pest control services offer continuous protection against ants, mice, stinging insects, roaches, bed bugs, flies, centipedes, spiders, earwigs, Asian lady beetles, box elder bugs and other insects. Whether you’re looking for a speedy response to a pest emergency or the peace of mind that comes from knowing that unwanted visitors won’t put your home or business in jeopardy, nobody beats Batzner.

"Terrible! They were great when they were locally owned. Rotokil purchased them and all went down hill. The changed from quarterly to 3 times a year. Increased the price. They never tell you when they are coming. Just scheduled and hope you can let them in. Tech was great but call center and customer service is as bad as it gets. Rude and dismissive"

"Ben was on the phone and he was knowledgeable and friendly. He understood how frantic I was. Randy performed the service. He used steel wool to plug up possible mouse entry points outside and in the kitchen from the basement. He put out 11 bait stations. That was two days ago and there has been no visible activity. He’ll return two more times for additional charges to check the bait stations and monitor any new activity. I am very happy with the results so far."

"I called Border Pest Control LLC. They asked me several questions regarding the infestation, were prompt in coming to my house, explained the process/what could be expected/what to do or not do/, followed up when they stated they would,... I definitely saw much evidence of the ants as they exited my house. Thanks for providing me with your services! I would contact this company again for pest extermination."

Additional contact names - Tammy Korlesky, Andy Kurth, Ben Halfen. Local independently owned & operated. Additional DBAs - Future Retirement Inc, Weed Man Milwaukee, Weed Man Fox Valley, Weed Man Madison. Additional email - [email protected]. Independently owned & operated.

"We had decent service until this summer. They put pesticide on our new sod and new seed and killed the grass. Customer service verified they were told NOT to treat it. It took 2 weeks for a manager to view our lawn. They then refused to take responsibility to rectify our ruined lawn. It had cost us $3500 and hours of watering and care. Now we will have to have it redone next spring. We have had no reply to a letter and photos taken to the office."

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

In most cases, a mother bird will return to a disturbed nest after the disturbance has passed. However, it can be hard for a mother bird to find a relocated nest. So, while it’s false that a mother bird will abandon her nest if it’s been disturbed, it’s not a good idea to relocate a nest with live babies or eggs in it.

Hawks might seem like fearless predators, but these smart birds do know what other animals to be cautious around. Hawks are naturally wary of humans and predators that see them or their eggs as a potential meal or threat. This list includes owls, crows, eagles, and even snakes or raccoons.

Set live traps or install a one-way door to evict squirrels, rodents, and other animals from your attic. Once they’re out, seal any entry points to prevent the animals from returning. If you’re dealing with an infestation, call a pro.

No, mothballs do not keep bats away. Not only are mothballs completely ineffective when repelling or removing bats, but using them could be illegal, depending on where you live. Remember, bats are federally protected, and it's illegal to use chemicals during the removal process, and mothballs tend to fall into this category.

The nesting period can last up to 10 weeks, and some species will continue to nest four to five times per year. A bird’s nest could continue to stay in use for several months or up until a bird finishes nesting for the year. It’s best to consult a wildlife professional to determine the longevity of a specific bird’s nest.
