First, Jeff, the owner, gave me various options for my heating and cooling needs and quickly followed up with a detailed written bid at a competitive price. He was also able to include some rerouting of ductwork and moving the position of my furnace for a more reasonable cost than the quotes I'd been given by the big HVAC companies. The HVAC techs -- Ron, Anthony, and Tyler -- were all professional, respectful of my home, really hard-working, and just nice guys to be around, and Debbie in the office has been so helpful and such a pleasure to deal with. But what impressed me most about Green City is how they reacted when we ran into a couple of unexpected problems: they were responsive, very fair, and worked on finding a solution I'd be happy with. "I'm a member of the excellent Allred subscription service that provides for consistent maintenance checkups for all installed equipment. I scheduled a tune for my heat pump, Allred was thorough and quick in setting the appointment, and communication of status and pending arrival time was on point. Raphael arrived, walked me through the maintenance steps he planned to take and the sequencing of the job, gave me an anticipated time to complete, and was at work immediately. All stated deliverables were met, and he provided a thorough after service report complete with pictures to show the work that was done and the recommended additional maintenance that would be wise to do to extend the life of our equipment. He was courteous, pleasant, clean and well-spoken, and I felt completely comfortable with him working in our home. I will continue to recommend Allred to my friends seeking HVAC services, and have sent several folks their way already. Very happy customer, exceptionally positive experience."

"I was extremely pleased by the work done by the company and their service techs Kenton and Slavi. I contacted AAA via email late in the evening and received a phone call from them 8:30 the following morning. They juggled their schedule and freed up Kenton to come see me later that same day. Kenton diagnosed the problem as a circuit board failure and, since no replacement was available locally, arranged to have one shipped overnight to AAA. The following morning I received another call from AAA informing me that the replacement part was in. They were able to free up Slavi in the early afternoon to do the install. Slavi arrived on schedule, installed the replacement part, then began running extensive diagnostics to insure that everything now worked properly. He performed a thorough cleaning of the circuitry to remove accumulated dust that can cause circuits to overheat. He measured air temperature and flow rate at multiple vents throughout the house to insure that there were no obstructions in the system. I signed up for one of AAA's low cost annual maintenance plans and was delighted to discover that they had applied the maintenance plan's discount to the work already done. That saved me more than $130. I had a great experience with AAA and am happy to recommend them for your HVAC needs. Their rates are reasonable and their service people are outstanding."

"Ranger did a great job. The estimators were friendly and thorough, the installers and team we encountered were all respectful and hard working. There was a problem with the electronics in the thermostat from the factory, they worked late and had to bring a new thermostat the next day, but the new one works perfectly. We will hire again for any other HVAC needs. We chose a higher quality AC unit and are glad we went with a quieter model, the unit is so quiet in the backyard."

"With freezing weather on the way, it was time (past time) for maintenance service on our 10-year-old gas furnace.  After much research on the List, I called Pacific Air Systems because of their positive reviews.  The office staff were cheerful and helpful, and they worked with us to get an appointment time that would disrupt our workday as little as possible.  Technician Nathan was perfectly on time.  He was friendly and professional, everything you would want in a technician (he was even very kind to my pet).  He explained up front what the maintenance service would include.  Fortunately, no problems were encountered.  One component was at the end of its useful life, and he gave me the option of replacing it now or waiting, and he explained the ramifications.  I played it safe and replaced the part while he was here.  When done, he explained the company's optional service contracts with absolutely no pressure to buy anything.  I did decide to purchase a one-year agreement just to avoid the hassle of trying to remember to schedule next year's maintenance appointment.  It's a good idea to have reliable service providers lined up for your plumbing, electrical, and HVAC needs in advance, and I feel very confident in Pacific Air Systems after this.
