"Let’[Member Information Removed] clear the smoke and get to the facts. First off, Mr. Barbers text was not only unprofessional—it was flat-out disrespectful. Tossing around military brotherhood as a shield for poor communication and baseless accusations? That’[Member Information Removed] not honor. That’[Member Information Removed] deflection. I don’t know what kind of “brotherhood” involves telling someone to kiss your a**, but it sure doesn’t reflect the values I was raised with. Now, to the furnace: The work performed was strictly related to the furnace exhaust system—not the electronic board, not the gas valve, and certainly not the 20-year-old control unit that’[Member Information Removed] currently failing. That component was never touched, tampered with, or included in the scope of work. If you’re going to throw around $3,900, let’[Member Information Removed] be accurate about what it paid for. As for the claim that “no apparent work was done”—I invite anyone to review the actual service documentation and scope. The exhaust system was serviced as contracted. A dirty filter and a failing board don’t magically appear overnight, and they’re not the responsibility of a contractor hired for a specific task. I stand by the work performed. I don’t fix what I didn’t break, and I don’t take ownership of issues outside the contracted scope. If that “refusing to fix the furnace,” then let’[Member Information Removed] call it what it is: refusing to be scapegoated."
"Thank you very much for the kind words!"
