"I was extremely pleased by the work done by the company and their service techs Kenton and Slavi. I contacted AAA via email late in the evening and received a phone call from them 8:30 the following morning. They juggled their schedule and freed up Kenton to come see me later that same day. Kenton diagnosed the problem as a circuit board failure and, since no replacement was available locally, arranged to have one shipped overnight to AAA. The following morning I received another call from AAA informing me that the replacement part was in. They were able to free up Slavi in the early afternoon to do the install. Slavi arrived on schedule, installed the replacement part, then began running extensive diagnostics to insure that everything now worked properly. He performed a thorough cleaning of the circuitry to remove accumulated dust that can cause circuits to overheat. He measured air temperature and flow rate at multiple vents throughout the house to insure that there were no obstructions in the system. I signed up for one of AAA's low cost annual maintenance plans and was delighted to discover that they had applied the maintenance plan's discount to the work already done. That saved me more than $130. I had a great experience with AAA and am happy to recommend them for your HVAC needs. Their rates are reasonable and their service people are outstanding."

"Bradley knows what heâ  s doing. I originally hired Seatown Electric to come out and install an in-house backup generator. Bradley came out to install the generator and found that we had some pretty dangerous wiring at the panel and it was not nearly up to code. I was in the HVAC industry 30 years ago and the mechanical theory in which Bradley explained made complete sense. Bradley finished up the generator install and he gave me a bid to fix the issue. The same day, we called Seatown and we made an appointment for him to come back and do the work. Bradley and Austin showed up at 7:50am, 10 minutes before the job started. They met with me and got started. I always like to look at service techs trucks to see what kind of person is working on my home. Bradleyâ  s truck was immaculate. Extremely organized, very clean and it looked like a service truck that was on the DeWalt showroom floor. The instant I saw Bradleyâ  s truck, I knew his work was going to be perfect. The professionalism from both Bradley and Austin was outstanding. They worked extremely hard for almost 11 hours that day. They didnâ  t mess around, they had their mind set on the job and I was extremely impressed at their work ethic. We have been through 4 major renovations between our two homes and have used a myriad of different contractors, but never have we had a team close to as good as these guys. "This was an excellent customer service experience. I selected Day & Nite Plumbing & Heating in Lynnwood, WA on the strength of Angie's List reviews that describe actual furnace repair work rather than other companies that seem more focused on doing furnace replacements. (Day & Nite do replacements, of course, but the reviews cited a fair number of repairs as well.) Although my gas furnace (a Carrier Weathermaster 800) is about 20 years old, my circumstances didn't allow replacement. When I contacted Shondra in their office about available appointments they were booking several days out, but were able to move it up a day and a half which was very appreciated given the cold nights. Tyler was the HVAC-R Technician sent for my appointment and he was amazing - both personable and knowledgeable, he listened to my concerns and quickly diagnosed and fixed the unit. He also understood that I am someone who likes to know details on what is being done and why – not too much detail, but enough so I felt informed which reassured me. Tyler’s great customer service and positive attitude, on top of his knowledge and experience with the technology impressed me so much I signed up with Day & Nite for their annual furnace maintenance plan next winter and will happily refer my friends and family for their furnace needs. I have yet to experience the Day & Nite plumbing services, but on the strength of my experience with Day and Nite and support by Tyler, I will give them a call when that need arises. (FYI: The approximate service cost of $600 included the ignitor part less a 10% customer discount for signing up for the maintenance plan, the trip charge and that for next winter’s maintenance trip, plus tax.)"

"Evergreen was able to squeeze me in for the in-home estimate only a couple of days after I contacted them, which was a Saturday no less.  John was super friendly and informative.  By Monday morning I had my two complete estimates for two different price ranges.  I opted for the top end one for better warranty and also that unit was eligible for federal income tax deduction in addition to the City Light rebate.
After accepting the estimate and paying the deposit, I made an installation appointment for about a week and a half later.  It may have been even sooner, but it was I who was inflexible.  Luckily for me, they were working Veterans Day which was the only time I could be home. 
Everyone arrived on time for the installation and was professional and helpful.  They have their own electricians who come on site for the installations, which was super fortunate for me as he was able to take over the circuit which had been powering the ancient baseboard heaters I was looking to retire.  Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to power my new unit.  The crew fastidiously used drop cloths and shoe protectors, there was no speck of dust left behind that I could find.  They were careful to inquire about the safety of my pets, which I appreciated although I had already corralled the pets in a back bedroom away from the work.  They estimated one full day of work, it took about a half day.  They were very thorough in making sure I understood all the paperwork and what to do with it.  I was to schedule the city inspections myself which was for the best anyway (all inspections passed unbelievably quickly with zero issues).  They also made sure I was fully trained on the use of the unit's remote, cleaning filters, etc.  The final bill was identical to what had been estimated.
I can't overstate the value of the service where they take the City Light rebate off the bill and deal with collecting from City Light themselves.  I wasn't looking forward to that particular process and was unsure how long it might take, but thanks to Evergreen I just never had to pay the rebate amount in the first place.  It seems like kind of a small thing writing it down, but it's things like this that I wish more contractors who are familiar with the processes would just handle for homeowners.
My kWh usage since getting the heat pump is considerably down from previous winters, even considering the uncharacteristically cold snaps we have had this year.  One thing I will mention, these types of units do not perform well below about 20 degrees Fahrenheit.  This is not Evergreen's fault, and it's a feather in their cap that they warned me extremely well of this.  Little did I realize I would have a chance to test this statement within a month after installation.  So, my kWh usage has still been down considerably since last year even with the cold snaps and with liberal use of the remaining connected baseboard heaters.  If you live in the PNW, the ductless heat pumps are great for our normal weather, get them.  Just maybe keep an additional space heating option around for freak record low temperatures.
I don't know how many more HVAC type jobs I'll have in the future, but when I do, I will call Evergreen.  I had a great experience all around and couldn't be happier with my system.
