"We contracted with Ms. Lily and the MA Landscaping team to redo our back patio on Capitol Hill in DC. The original patio had a dilapidated fence, an uneven brick floor, and overgrown shed. "Robert responded to my request for quotes and was able to meet with me the same day. He explained the scope work, start date and cost. Cost was very reasonable, he was able to have a crew onsite the next day. The crew arrived on time, went over the scope of work to ensure we were in agreement. They removed the 18 year old wood deck, graded and leveled the area for the patio. Built the framing, filled with gravel and rebar, ensuring everything was level. On the 2nd day they did the concrete work and stamping. The 3rd day they power washed and sealed the patio. Cleaned up the yard before leaving. An amazing improvement over the old wood deck. Robert and the crew were easy to work with and great communication. I am beyond pleased with the final product. I highly recommend Robert Construction for any concrete work. "I signed a contract in January 2016 with First Impressions Hardscapes to extend my patio this year.  The work was  done in March In setting up the frame they drove a stake in the ground and broke a pipe in our underground sprinkler system.  When the  technician from the sprinkler system can to turn on our sprinkler they noticed that one area was not working.  Upon investigation they discovered that the pipe was broken. I called First Impressions Hardscapes and advised them of what had happened when their people came to extend our patio.We took pictures of the broken pipe and sent it to First Impressions Hardscapes along with a copy of the bill I received from the sprinkler company.

In May I contacted First Impressions Hardscapes but there was no response.  I contacted them again in early June and still no response. 

On June 21st I again contacted the representative of First Impressions Hardscapes and was told the request would be passed on to the billing department.  The company, in my opinion was refusing to reimburse me for the damage they incurred until I advised them that I was going to write a letter to the Better Business Bureau and Angie's List.  I received an email on June 22 stating that they would pay for the damage.  To date I have not received payment.  I will not recommend then to anyone.
