Rigo and his team were competent and professional from start to finish. He was always timely and communicative, answering all my questions regarding the work and explaining the process in detail. We have a very old home that has some unique features, and they went above and beyond to ensure not only excellent work, but that the character of the home remained undisturbed.

I researched and interviewed many companies. This is the only company that listened when I said I did not want expensive blue stone for the sidewalk and porch. Rigo listened and worked with me to create a wonderful sidewalk and to repair the porch. The crew measured and leveled every section. They consistently focused on details and checked to make sure the project was meeting my expectations. I hired him for an additional job and they continued to be detailed and check to make sure the job was meeting my expectations. I plan to hire them for a 3rd job in the Spring.

Rigo and his IBC team were very collaborative in regrading a section of our asphalt driveway to enable our cars to enter/exit the garage without bottoming out. We successfully regraded the driveway. We ran into a minor glitch with rain when sealing the driveway, but Rigo diligently came out, corrected the problem, and resealed the driveway. I appreciated Rigo's reliability, diligence, and honesty.

Our 40-year old driveway was seriously cracked from tree roots and could not be resealed anymore, because the tree roots had caused the driveway to raise up in certain areas. We asked three companies for estimates for having our old asphalt driveway dug up, tree roots shaved down, and widening our driveway a little. We felt most comfortable with IBC, because of Rigo, the owner who seemed to really understand what we wanted. We chose IBC were not disappointed. Every one of the workers who came out were friendly, professional, and very accommodating. They finished the work in two days and did a good job of cleaning up afterwards. We are so happy with the way the driveway looks! Even where they dug up the grass on the side of the driveway to widen it was very neatly done. They took the grass and placed it on a bare spot in the side yard, so now even that looks good. I would definitely use this company again if I needed more work done.

I am pleased to recommend International Brick and Concrete(IBC) and Rigo Ortez for all asphalt related work. My wife and I needed a driveway overlay due to severe cracking in our 20 year old+ driveway. We called and then interviewed a number of contractors from the area, none of whom were particularly responsive and all of whom were a bit evasive regarding price, specific work to be done and timing. We each separately described our feelings about these contractors as “sketchy”. Rigo was immediately different – he was obviously professional and directly answered all questions. He responded to our message within an hour, showed up to our appointment on time, answered all questions clearly and concisely, provided a proposal within a few hours of our meeting and then completed the job the following week on the day agreed. The price was lower than most of the other quotes we received and overall it was very competitively priced. The driveway work was done by Rigo and his crew exactly as described and per specifications and looks beautiful. While we don’t have direct experience with their brick and concrete work, based on the asphalt job completed for us and RIgo’s professionalism, I am confident they would provide similar quality work. My concrete walkway attached to the stoop on the side of my house was cracked. Originally I wanted the stoop and the walkway replaced. Of the 4 offers I received, Rigo Ortez was the first person who recommended against that as the stoop was attached to the house and still in very good condition. He was actually concerned that tearing it off might cause issues with the foundation. Rather he suggested back filling under the stoop and attaching the new walkway to the stoop using rebar. While his offer wasn't the lowest price it also wasn't the highest and his guidance on the stoop was appreciated. Ultimately that is the reason I went with his company. They were flexible and came out on my schedule, had MISS-Utility mark off the lines, and completed the work on-time and on-budget. Everything looks great.
