"After finding out that our wood stove couldnâ t be installed due to an issue with the width of our existing chimney & the proposed liner, Honeycutt Chimney Sweep was recommended to us. Not only did Dustin fit us in quickly, but he also patiently explained our options, helped us pick the best choice for our current situation, and came back less than a week later to complete the proposed work. Everyone we interacted with was kind, courteous, and did the job quickly & correctly. I would recommend them to friends & family without hesitation!"

"Company was prompt and reasonable. Chimney was cleaned. They gave tips on future maintenance and the condition of the chimneys. They pointed out other areas where they can provide services."

"Jeff Davis, the Chimney inspector, was prompt, efficient and provided his report in both hardcopy and in e-mail, as I requested. I needed an e-mail version to send to my condo management company. He also explained clearly why cleaning of the Chimney was not needed. I certainly plan to contact him again when another inspection is needed."

"I've used American Professional several times at various houses I've lived in or owned. They are an honest and professional company that does good work and stands behind it. I recently got them to give me an estimate on rebuilding the top portion of a chimney that needs brickwork. They inspected the chimney, told me it was safe to use, and gave me a very reasonable estimate for the chimney rebuild, saying that it can wait until spring if I wish. From my experience, they will do everything they can to satisfy the customer, whether it's a simple chimney cleaning or custom work. This is the best chimney company in the DC area by far."

"American Chimney Sweeps was amazing from the 1st communication through text till they came out and completed the job. I hired them to clean my exterior dryer vent cover and remove it since I was constantly having issue of lint building up on it. I had them install a new NO-PEST VENT, Exclusive Dual Door Dryer Vent Cover so I wouldn't have issue of lint building up and they knew exactly how to adjust it to fit properly and installed it perfectly. They made sure to put sealant all around edges and went back up ladder to cover the screw holes from the previous cover with sealant as well. Lewis and his partner did a great job and I would definitely hire them again!"

"Extremely professional and a man of his word. Found some problems left over from a previous Chimney company and corrected them. Replaced damper and flue and did excellent work. I recommend this company very highly."
