"I have been meaning to share how wonderful XtraCare Landscaping is for some time. It was raining when I took photos, so I will update with photos from a sunny day when everything is dry (and a fresh coat of mulch is down). We cannot say enough good things about this company and their teams. Top Notch customer service and care. They are experts and professionals at every stage. They were extremely responsive and understanding whenever we had questions. This is our second time using XtraCare for a patio. We had a small flagstone patio installed at our previous home in Maryland. It was beautiful, and they guided us through each step, including going to the stone quarry to select the exact stone color, size & shape. We were extremely happy. We since moved to Northern Virginia, and after getting several quotes from local companies here, we were not feeling a comfort level for the design process and customer care with any of them, as we were spending a good amount of money on a much larger patio, this was a big deal. We were not sure if XtraCare would come to Virginia, but since we had such a great experience, we gave them a call and were thrilled to be able to work with them again! We instantly felt comfortable with the process, and knew we would have a beautiful patio, that would last. They guided us through each step with patience, attention to detail and understood the vision we had for our outdoor living space. We wanted a mixture of textures and ability to have different zones of functionality, including an area for trash storage and deck boxes tucked away, as well as a fire pit and pathways. We are beyond in love with our new outdoor space, and look forward to making many memories entertaining and enjoying it with family and friends. I will add that my parents used them for a small stone landing and some stone retaining walls around their trees and garden beds, and also had a wonderful experience. We can't thank the XtraCare team enough...Cleber, Mari & CJ, as well as their hardscape & landscape crews. They exceeded our expectations each time. We would recommend them in a heartbeat, and will be using them again as new projects arise."

"I have used this company before, for a patio at our old house, so when I moved and so I would need a new sidewalk I knew who to call. Derek, the sales person and estimator,arrived right on time and was very professional in suggesting a design for the new sidewalk. He also suggested that we could use some of the existing flagstone to build a pad for our trash cans around the side of the house. they told me they estimated the work would be done at the end of August, but they actually came out two weeks early to do the work. on a hot day, the team worked hard and was very efficient and precise. Mr. Morgado the supervisor was there at the beginning and we discussed and confirmed the work to be done...then he gave clear instructions to the crew. They did a super job, and it looks terrific...attractive and professional. Santos the crew leader confirmed things with me before doing them, like how to handle a tricky step up from the driveway. We are very pleased with the sidewalk and have gotten several compliments on it."

"We were able to pick up the type of fence and patio we wanted. They were very nice and timely, but in their design there were several structural things that did not make sense based on what other people had done. They were the cheapest. I went to get a quote from them because I found them on Angie's List. They kind of recommended using material that was like cheaper. I told them I wanted a walk that was like inside the gait, but they said that they actually could not do."

"Jose and his patio paver crew are the ultimate professionals who deliver what they promise, at a fair price and in a timely manner. They first repaired uneven pavers due to tree root growth, and then they power washed and resealed the entire patio, using polymetric sand. Our patio looks and feels like new! "It went well! Jesus and his partner showed up right on time. I had ordered this patio cover from the manufacturer and was thinking about doing it myself, but it was sufficiently complicated that I was pretty sure it'd be too much for me. The cost for the 21.8'x12' was about $2200. I showed the guys the instructions and walked them through my understanding of how the install should go, as well as pointing out my concerns about a slightly tricky part where the patio cover would intersect with a corner of the house. The guys didn't seem at all concerned and got to work (in the blazing hot sun). I had to hustle out and get some supplies a few times, two trips for flashing (first type was not what they needed), and one trip to purchase screws/nuts/washers as the manufacturer screwed up and sent only a few when about 50 were needed. At the end of the day they did a great job, and the patio cover looks and performs great. I'd been quoted a total of 12-16 hours of labor (the estimator came out for a $50 fee which was applied to the cost when I agreed to it), and it actually turned out to be 18, so the cost was higher than I'd hoped. Not too bad though. I'd say as far as the work done it was very high quality. My only complaint was that the instructions called for calking during several points in the install, and I'd provided plenty of calk. To my surprise the guys didn't use any (contrary to the instructions), so that could be an issue for me later on. I'll get on the room and do a little calking myself (for what I can reach...which may not be enough). Bottom line, very happy."
