"Removed old concrete patio: This was an old 1963-era concrete slab. Massive. Mike & his team brought in jackhammers and made quick work of it. Waterproofing: Removing the old slab revealed a damaged (and possibly leaking) portion of the house wall, which Mike's team repaired well. Replaced with new patio: Mike's team poured a new cement layer, then installed a new flagstone patio surface on top of that. Also a new step (concrete with flagstone exterior) at the door threshold. They also re-installed an iron railing which had been part of the original patio configuration. The job went well in all respects. We're happy with the team's work and with the new patio. I've worked with Mike and Diversified Contractors several times now. Each time, Mike has had good ideas & suggestions. Each time, his team has demonstrated excellent skills. Again, I'm looking forward to our next project."

We unearthed an old patio which had sunken down unevenly and was directing water toward the foundation of the house. Rigo worked with us to come up with a beautiful solution. "We were looking to get a patio installed.  I had 4 other patio contractors out before we brought Saul in; a number of them were the big known patio installers.  Saul came out and reviewed our plans and recommended that we go visit one of his other jobs just down the street. I appreciated that I was able to go see firsthand his work and what it looked like before committing to such a big job. What I really appreciated about his approach vs. the others was his commitment to quality and discussion about it as compared to the others. The other installers were just interested in providing you a sq. foot cost.   We ended up getting a very extensive flagstone patio installed with seating walls, stairs, and all.   Saul and his team worked extremely hard and did a fantastic job end-to-end, from working with us on the design to cleaning up the site after they finished.  We are beyond impressed with the quality especially compared to our last flagstone patio.  A few of our neighbors were already looking at his work and we will be highly recommending him and his team.  
 
The price was overall comparable to the other patio installers I had but I feel like we made the right decision for the level of quality we received."

"I signed a contract in January 2016 with First Impressions Hardscapes to extend my patio this year.  The work was  done in March In setting up the frame they drove a stake in the ground and broke a pipe in our underground sprinkler system.  When the  technician from the sprinkler system can to turn on our sprinkler they noticed that one area was not working.  Upon investigation they discovered that the pipe was broken. I called First Impressions Hardscapes and advised them of what had happened when their people came to extend our patio.We took pictures of the broken pipe and sent it to First Impressions Hardscapes along with a copy of the bill I received from the sprinkler company.

In May I contacted First Impressions Hardscapes but there was no response.  I contacted them again in early June and still no response. 

On June 21st I again contacted the representative of First Impressions Hardscapes and was told the request would be passed on to the billing department.  The company, in my opinion was refusing to reimburse me for the damage they incurred until I advised them that I was going to write a letter to the Better Business Bureau and Angie's List.  I received an email on June 22 stating that they would pay for the damage.  To date I have not received payment.  I will not recommend then to anyone.

"Robert responded to my request for quotes and was able to meet with me the same day. He explained the scope work, start date and cost. Cost was very reasonable, he was able to have a crew onsite the next day. The crew arrived on time, went over the scope of work to ensure we were in agreement. They removed the 18 year old wood deck, graded and leveled the area for the patio. Built the framing, filled with gravel and rebar, ensuring everything was level. On the 2nd day they did the concrete work and stamping. The 3rd day they power washed and sealed the patio. Cleaned up the yard before leaving. An amazing improvement over the old wood deck. Robert and the crew were easy to work with and great communication. I am beyond pleased with the final product. I highly recommend Robert Construction for any concrete work. Everyone was polite, professional and hard working."
