So I called 'Jim the Handyman' for their free estimate. I accepted that after their on-site review and two fellows came to move many things off the deck and power wash. They cleaned up the mess that made and the work revealed more boards were rotting than earlier could be seen. So, slightly revised cost estimate and then larger crew for one day of carpentry and then two days of staining. I am a believer in DIY but this time I'm glad I called on the professionals. Great quality and good value. I recommend them. And I was glad to say farewell to many rotten boards."
