"Murrays was outstanding. They repaired all the damaged roofing (rafter, sheathing, shingles and wood around skylight. Then installed new skylight and cap. Skylight even opens to let fresh air blow in. Murrays did all this 6hrs, They cleaned up as they worked, took all bad wood, old skylight and shingles away. Very Polite, professional, even my dogs liked them (that says a lot"

"Initially, Steve, the owner of Eastern Floor Covering, provided an in-home detail costs estimate for the entire installation process, item-by-item, with a cost associated with each item. He also included some suggestions of padding products that he found worked best, through his many years of flooring, like (tucking the carpet under each step a little more cost for installation , and a little pricier step padding . His suggestion turned out to be right on target. The final end product was super spectacular. Waking on the steps feel like walking on a cloud. Much better than I anticipated. Both sets of stairs never looked that good. Regarding the installation process: It went like everyone hopes it would go, but never does. A date and time was chosen from a group of available days and times; The lady in the store phoned the day before to remind me of the installation date and time window, the process was started within the time window that I selected, The installers were polite and friendly and understood that I needed to get to my upstairs office during the day. The cleanup process was above par. The removal of the old carpet was quick and the broom was used several times during installation. What a well organized carpeting replacement system! My hat is off to you Steve and your crew."

Dycarp was founded in 1985 with a strong family support system and the training to provide service with excellence. Today, Dycarp employees maintain the same education practices, properly aligning technology and service with modern textiles. Our knowledge of proper cleaning methods for carpet and upholstery, as well as our installation abilities with all flooring products, allows Dycarp to separate ourselves from the ordinary cleaning or installation company. Our participation in community, environmental, political, and religious arenas allows Dycarp to give back, as well as assist in customer awareness.

"I know this review is a long one, but bear with me if you are seriously considering Dycarp for any of your carpet needs. Above all else when it comes to this company: DON’T BOTHER. This company doesn’t have time for keeping a tidy office let alone answering phone calls or customer questions. The office and carpet showroom were in shambles. Among the piles of junk were stacks of adult and children’s clothing, a child’s mattress, a bed frame, and many many unlabeled and unorganized carpet samples. Piles of paperwork littered the office and made for an uncomfortable experience. All work goes through Debbie the owner/manager who is never in the office or able to take calls. Common/ordinary questions are even too much for the highly incapable staff. On average it took 1-2 weeks to receive a call back depending upon whether or not you (the customer) called to remind them or check in. Expect to receive lots of sass from anyone that you speak too. We received multiple incorrect estimates throughout the 4 months that we dealt with them. In those estimates were mistakes that included the wrong brand of carpet, incorrect room measurements, incorrect customer name, additional carpet/padding that wasn’t needed, and we also received two estimates for a completely different person. For our job the work and payments were reviewed and approved by our insurance. Dycarp tried to dupe the insurance company by charging them twice for the same work. When we brought the issue up with Debbie, she told us, “We’ll just send it anyway and see what happens.” We said no to that idea; she sent it anyway, and our insurance noticed. This company is completely dishonest and untrustworthy. On countless occasions we were told emails would be sent immediately or had already been sent, never to receive them. When we would call back about the nonexistent email several hours later, they would magically “resend it” in a brand new email (no resending the old one they never sent) and only then would it show up. We gave this company so many chances they truly didn’t deserve when ultimately, they decided to stop working with us. Why? Because our insurance sent them a check and for two weeks we called to see if they had received it. Our insurance told us the check had cleared, but Dycarp maintained that they had never received it. Our insurance needed Dycarp to look into their bank statements immediately to make sure they hadn’t in fact cashed the checks, as if they had not it could be a matter of fraud. Instead of showing any concern or urgency, or attempting to look into the matter any further, after a full day of trying to reach Debbie, she only returned our call when we said that we would come into the office to speak face to face. It was during this call back at 30 minutes before the office closed that she told us we spoke to her staff “unpleasantly.” We told her we had waited a full week, let alone the full current day, and were understandably upset but nothing more when speaking to her employees. She then told us that we called too much, and she didn’t like the way our insurance approved of our claim. And that was that. The end of a terrible relationship. I know this review has been a long one, but I leave it for good reason. I worry that a family will be put into a position like ours. Did I mention that we have gone a month without carpet or carpet pad in our master bedroom and stairs landing? If you don’t want to be the next negative review left for this company, do yourself a favor and don’t let a single person from Dycarp into your home for an estimate. The time and work that you put into your own carpet needs will be more than they are ever willing to do in office."

"Working with Javier helps to understand how the insurance coverage works. This was not something I could have done on my own. Javier acted almost like an insurance attorney providing invaluable advice. So, the moral of the story is that you need Javier to guide you through your coverage. When supplemental requests are involved, the insurance pays $1000 to accommodation instead of instantly approving a $500 supplemental. The process is very frustrating, and people get frustrated; however, Javier NEVER says NO. Whatever you want, he finds a way to deliver. He did the re-paint job for free with the paint of my choice. I was unhappy with some installations. He immediately got them fixed. One other thing is that Javier never bothered me with payment timing. He was pretty flexible. He did not even call for follow-up. I read the negative reviews on the website, and I realized I had most of them myself, BUT the point is Javier is not the reason. Construction work is an expensive open-ended process; the products we usually get are not top-notch Armani Case; they are what insurance covers and the process is frustratingly time-consuming unless you pay up-front and ready to pay for extras. So the frustration-cause is not Javier; it is the difference between what it is and what we want to be. Javier worked on my place for several months; his team is reliable, honest, and trustable."
