"Mr. Crowder arrived as scheduled and was extremely courteous the entire time. He did not rush the process and explained to achieve the level of clean I was hoping for. After, he was done I was amazed! Had I not been home, I would have thought new carpet was installed. Highly recommend using this company!"

"Began with cleaning the oven and the drip layer of the gas range. The second provider started in the bathrooms. Both did very nice jobs. I hired them on an Angie's List special, because I was looking for a new provider and their ratings were high. This is my only experience with them so far; I hope the quality will continue into future jobs. They were pleasant with brief conversations. They were neat with their equipment. They were concerned that the job satisfied me.
Although this original job was a special price, the quotes for future services were reasonable.

Carpet Installation questions, answered by experts

In most cases, carpeting isn’t kind to the wood that it’s attached to. Most carpet installation uses adhesive or nailing strips, both of which will damage wood. Conversely, you can choose to use an adhesive designed to be removed from wood, in which case carpeting can actually protect your hardwood stairs.

Some flooring companies recycle old carpet after replacing it. The broader flooring industry has been moving toward recycling more carpet material. However, whether an individual carpet gets recycled is up to the flooring company that removes it. When gathering quotes for new flooring in your area, ask each company about removal options and what they do with the material.

The cost to install carpet is $1,780 on average for 330 square feet, the size of an average living room. This cost could range from $200 to $5,000, depending on the amount of carpet, material, and type of carpet.

If you need 500 square feet of carpet, it’ll cost $1,500 to $5,500, while 1,000 square feet of carpet costs $3,000 to $11,000. Polyester is one of the more affordable options, ranging from $1 to $3 per square foot. Wool is a more luxurious option, ranging from $4 to $20 per square foot

Installation typically takes 1-2 days, depending on the area size and preparation needed.

It’s a good idea to install a rug pad under the carpet for your stairs. To make the pad fit, you’ll need to cut one section for each stair tread that’s about one inch narrower than the stair runner so that it won’t be visible once the carpet is installed on top.
