"Don built and installed our custom kitchen cabinets and they turned out amazing. Totally transformed our 1970 kitchen to modern. The quality of the cabinets is the best around. Love the full extension drawer guides and the soft close doors. People come over and when they see us close our cabinet doors they ask how we got them."

"I highly recommend if you’re looking for high quality custom cabinetry. Scott and team remodeled my entire kitchen with custom cabinets, new pantry built-in cabinet, countertops, and backsplash. I’m very happy with the results and Scott was a pleasure to work with. Communications was great and Scott was very responsive. I had a minor issue and Scott was at my house the next day to resolve."

Customers say: True professional

"We were so impressed with Borrett construction and finishing company they replaced my kitchen cabinets they sanded the skeleton of the cabinets and then put up new doors new hinges and painted the inside of the cabinets and also the interior of the shelves. They did a beautiful job I couldn’t be happier they were neat and they cleaned up they taped off the whole room so nothing blew in any other part of my home. The painting job was amazing. They came when they said they would come they were very pleasant to work with I have never had nicer or more professional people working in my home. My name is Judi and I live in McKinney Texas"

"We've done a lot of remodeling, and this was one of the smoothest projects we've ever experienced. Richard Varga is wonderful to work with . . . he stays on top of the work to be done, is calm and professional, has great problem solving abilities and a good eye for what will and won't look good. He was attentive throughout, helpful with selection of cabinets through to the end. He was responsive to my texts and calls and quick to address any questions or concerns. His people left the work area clean at the end of each day. Jose, the lead carpenter, is a gem! Projects this big will have their 'hiccups', but for us, they were minor, and things were resolved quickly. Very pleased with the outcome!"

"Patryk and Roman did a lot of work for me. They remodeled two of my bathrooms and the quality was beyond excellent. The quote I received from them was very fair compared to the other quotes I got. They don't subcontract which is great. Work was done within reasonable time. Definitely would hire again. In fact, looking to remodel my kitchen with them next year."

"In a house that is 60 years old, no repair comes easily. We needed to have our shower pan replaced and repair damage to the subfloor. After talking with several people, we understood that the we were looking at almost a complete bathroom remodel. Gary was very helpful in the decisions that needed to made as to what would have to be replaced and what if anything we could keep. He offered us a reasonable estimate of the work the first day we consulted with him and he stuck to that estimate. Clearly he had done work in older homes and knew what to expect. His crew, Enrique and Jose ( with Charlie occasionally) were excellent. They were respectful of our home, diligent in their work and very attentive to detail. The team came routinely at the same time and left at a reasonable hour each day. Communication from both Gary and Enrique was excellent, each making sure they understood what we wanted. We are very pleased with the result."

"PJ, the owner, and his whole crew were nothing but professional. We had three other quotes for our huge project for a new covered patio area, landscaping, and an outdoor kitchen area but we chose Complete Solutions because they were within the price range we wanted and their communication was second to none. We received a text every single day during the project with progress made that day. PJ and his project manager were very responsive to any questions we had and were patient with us as we changed our minds a few times on what exactly we wanted. They finished the project two weeks ahead of schedule."

"These guys are friendly, professional and efficient.
This is the second time that they have done work for us.  The first was installing a new electric range which required cutting out base cabinets and the counter as well as putting in a 240 volt outlet.

Kitchen Cabinet Refacing questions, answered by experts

Kitchen remodeling can be as minor as a new coat of paint or as significant as a kitchen expansion to add more space. Some common things to include in a kitchen remodel include:

  • New appliances

  • Fresh flooring

  • New paint on walls or cabinets

  • Luxury countertops

  • New or custom cabinets

  • Lighting fixtures

  • New cabinet hardware

  • Changes in electrical or plumbing locations

  • New sink and faucet

Common materials used for cabinet refacing include laminate, wood veneers, and thermofoil. These offer varied aesthetic options and durability levels, depending on your budget.

Even the least DIY-savvy homeowner can replace cabinet hardware themselves. All you need is a drill, screwdriver, and a tape measure. However, always take the time to measure and fit carefully. Misalignment or dodgy drill holes can spoil the entire look of your cabinet makeover, and repairs or replacement cabinets can be costly.

No, in most cases, you do not have to remove your countertops to reface cabinets. Since refacing primarily involves updating the doors, drawer fronts, and exterior surfaces, your existing countertops can usually stay right where they are, making the process quicker and less disruptive. However, if your counters prevent the access needed to remove doors and drawers, they may need to be temporarily removed. It's best to consult with a professional cabinet contractor to assess your specific kitchen layout during an estimate.

You can add glass to your existing kitchen cabinet doors with a few tools and some patience. We recommend following the DIY steps listed above, which include cutting a panel for the glass, cutting and adding the glass, and reattaching your cabinetry. If these steps seem too complicated or you’d rather have the peace of mind of a professional installation, hire a cabinet installation pro to handle this project for you.
