"Outstanding price and workmanship! Rich provided me a fair estimate for the work. He kept me informed throughout the wait for foam products to arrive. And upon arrival scheduled work immediately. The workers came and instalked the 6 inch foam as advertised. I am saving now to have Prime return and do my attic."

We are a roofing company, specializing in storm damage claims, Our process is to provide a free inspection by one of our HAAG Certified roofing inspectors. This allows us to inform our customers if they have enough damage on their roof prior to contacting their Insurance provider. This avoids unnessecary claims filed against your home. Once your roof is approved it will be replaced by one of our certified roofing crews backed by an available 20 year warranty on labor.

"This guy is a freakin scammer. Who knows what his business name is now, he goes by JGP restoration, JGP building company and sunset homes but his name is Rich Wojtalik. He installed siding and windows for us in 2014. Even from the beginning, communication was horrible. I had to constantly track him down and find out when the work was to begin seeing he did not start when he said he would. Anyway, let me get to the BIG issue here. We put that house up for sale in Nov 2018, and upon the home inspection, the inspector discovered moisture around EVERY SINGLE WINDOW. I contacted Rich Wojtalik, he came out to assess everything himself and he found that the windows were not properly weather proofed, agreed to come out Nov. 27 2018 to make "all necessary" repairs. I have that in a hand written note from him, emails and texts. He wanted us to pull off all of the paneling ourselves beforehand and send him pictures of everything so that he could gather enough materials to do all of the repairs. We discovered BLACK MOLD behind EVERY PANEL AROUND THE WINDOWS so we did not disturb anything else and told him he could just expect to repair everything seeing it looked so bad. So he came out on Nov 27 2018 to the "repairs". Yeah, that was a big joke. He literally CAULKED AROUND THE WINDOWS, PAINTED OVER THE MOLD AND REPLACED A FEW 2X4s. Not, rewrap the windows and properly sealed them, HE CAULKED THEM!!!!! So after arguing with him about doing it correctly, he stated that we could just turn it in on his insurance and said he would call us with all of that info that afternoon after he finished another job he had that day. Well of course that was a fight and the insurance info he did give us said they did not insure him at the time so there was nothing they could do. This guy knows exactly what he is doing and how to screw people over without getting caught. He warrantied the labor on his work for 5 years and he is not sticking to the warranty. We had to cover the costs of those repairs from someone else, my dogs were sick, we have all been sick and he doesn't care at all about making it right. DO NOT TRUST THIS CROOKED MAN!!!! He has multiple businesses he operates from, not just this one, tell me that's not shady"

FAQs for insulation service projects in Rock Hill, SC

When choosing a professional insulation installer, consider asking these questions to determine the best fit.

  • Will you address air leaks in my house?

  • Can you provide an R-value (heat resistance) fact sheet?

  • What kind of insulation will work best for my home?

  • How do you handle signs of a water leak?

  • Are you licensed and insured?

  • Can you provide customer references?

The best type of insulation for your home depends on what you need, so the answer will depend on your specific situation. If you’re building a house, structural panels are easy to install during the building process in addition to being the most energy efficient type. If you live in a warm climate, reflective insulation may benefit you more as it costs less than other insulation types. And for standard attics, loose-fill, spray foam, or blown-in insulation work well.

If you plan to heat or cool your garage, you’ll need to insulate the garage ceiling. Insulating your garage ceiling will make your garage much more energy efficient and save on heating and cooling costs. Not only does insulation make your garage more energy efficient, it helps reduce noise and can extend the life of your garage roof. You can use fiberglass, cellulose, mineral wool, or spray foam insulation for this project.

In some cases, you may not have enough insulation to properly regulate your home’s temperature. Watch for a few signs your home needs more insulation, such as:

  • High heating and cooling bills

  • Uncomfortable room temperatures

  • Ice dams on the edge of your roof

  • Roof leaks

  • Cold floors and walls

  • Freezing pipes

  • Temperature fluctuations

  • Visibly low insulation

  • Noise problems

  • Pest problems

On average, insulating an attic costs about $2,500, ranging from $1,500 to $3,500, depending on the insulation type, amount, and your attic’s accessibility. Additional cost factors include sealing air leaks, removal or replacement of insulation, and inspections. Types of insulation include:

  • Blown-in: $1–$4 per square foot

  • Spray foam: $2–$5 per square foot

  • Batt: $2–$4 per square foot

  • Structural insulated panels: $4–$7 per square foot

  • Loose-fill: $2–$5 per square foot

  • Reflective: $0.50–$1.50 per square foot
