"Standard Insulating Company installed a dehumidifier in our crawl space, removed old, ineffective insulation in the attic and installed new attic insulation. They team was respectful, on time, and did a great job!"
"My wife and I were so pleased with Chris and his team from the work on our crawl space that we hired them to remove and install new insulation in our entire house. Due to a previous leak in the roof the insulation wasn't effective. All About Energy Solutions came in and removed all of the old insulation and put new insulation in. They also added a radiant barrier. Chris is extremely knowledgable and passionate about what he does and wants to teach you about the benefits of the solutions they provide. This has been the second job we have hired Chris for and wouldn't hesitate to hire him or recommend him. Chris continues to go above and beyond for us."
"Did not do work, but pricing was competitive with everyone else. Invoice got lost in junk e-mail, so did not think I ever received invoice, but I found it a month or so after job was completed again. If\when I have another job will call All Foam and make sure Invoice doesn't get lost in junk e-mail! "
"Outstanding! Mario and his workers did a fantastic job! They removed all insulation. They sanded off all wood and treated with a solution to kill any residual mold. They placed new insulation. They encapsulated the whole crawl space and placed a dehumidifier. I felt very confident that the job was "done right". The whole organization very professional."

"Awesome experience. Purchased home with open crawl space that was deteriorated with hanging insulation, and breeding ground for rodents and waste. Researched crawl space options and interviewed several companies to compare. Greg was honest, informative and provided an option that encapsulated the raised crawl space, complete with dehumidifier and thick vapor barrier. He promised to come by annually to check and make any necessary adjustments and stood by his word - we had the project completed in 2015 and he came back in 2016 adding some sealer to small gaps that occured and will be scheduled him again to return soon for 2017 service. VERY happy we completed - the house smells much better (they disinfected underneath and spent time ensuring joists were clean), air quality and comfort level is greater and greater peace of mind with rodent exclusion. Would HIGHLY recommend Greg and his crew"
"Wayne and his crew did a spectacular job, at a very fair price. What began as a simple dryer vent job, became a critically important HVAC-related repair, after his willingness to check on our mold and odor issue from our primary air conditioning unit. Net/net: He discovered our problem was with mold and retained water in flex duct work that had not been properly checked and cleaned. He provided us with a comprehensive quote, and quickly got us on his schedule, even though it meant they had to work on a Saturday. He and his crew arrived on time (in fact, 15 minutes before promised) and in one day changed out all duct work. He also returned to our home the next week, to verify everything was properly installed and working, and "tweaked" a few ducts that needed adjustments. Wayne knows his "stuff" and advised on cost-effective solutions (at far fewer dollars) to save on addressing one remaining issue. Lastly, when we had concerns with a faint odor (not caused by their work) he immediately returned the next morning, to ensure everything was working properly. We highly recommend Lindsay's Air Care -- excellent and prompt, expert service. Very fair price, knowledgeable and friendly, willing to explain all work, quick to follow up to ensure we were completely satisfied and that the work was done correctly in all respects."
In Matthews, homeowners often overlook sealing attic bypasses before adding insulation, which can reduce energy efficiency. Skipping vapor barriers in crawl spaces is another frequent error, especially given the region’s humidity. Attempting DIY insulation in tight or hard-to-reach areas without proper safety equipment increases risks. Additionally, failing to address pre-existing moisture issues or using the wrong R-value for the local climate can compromise long-term results.
Helpful?
Insulation service in Matthews quickly improves comfort by stabilizing indoor temperatures and reducing drafts. In the short term, you’ll notice lower energy bills and less wear on your HVAC system. Over time, enhanced insulation increases your home’s value, reduces maintenance needs, and helps control allergens—especially important during Matthews’ pollen-heavy seasons. Consistent upgrades also support better indoor air quality and long-term energy savings.
Helpful?
In Matthews, long-lasting insulation results depend on thorough air sealing, using the correct R-value for the local climate, and installing vapor barriers where needed to manage moisture. Quality workmanship is crucial—especially in attics and crawl spaces prone to humidity. Regularly checking for signs of water intrusion or pest activity, and maintaining proper ventilation, will help preserve insulation performance over time.
Helpful?
When planning insulation service in Matthews, review any local permit requirements and check for HOA restrictions that may affect your project. Seasonal demand for contractors can impact scheduling, so plan ahead. The area’s clay soil and mature landscaping may influence crawl space access and attic ventilation needs. Also, explore local energy efficiency incentives and utility programs to maximize your project’s benefits.
Helpful?
To keep insulation projects in Matthews family-friendly, clearly mark and restrict access to work zones, especially if spray foam or loose-fill materials are used. Schedule the work when children are at school to minimize exposure. For pets, confine them to unaffected areas and monitor for any signs of irritation. Choosing low-VOC and hypoallergenic insulation materials further reduces risks for sensitive family members.
