Charlotte Roofing Specialists replaced our roof this week. They were excellent from the day of the estimate to the day they completed the work. TJ came to look over our roof. He went into the attic to look over potential problems, and sent us the pictures he took on the roof itself so we could see and discuss what needed to be done. He took his time and patiently answered all our questions. The quote was thorough and detailed, plus it included a cash only discount. We also want to mention Holly, the employee who was always kind when answering our financial questions. The day of the project, everyone was on time, worked hard, and respectful of our property. We’re very happy with the service and professionalism of Charlotte Roofing Company and greatly recommend them.

The whole process was seamless and excellent. After calling, the owner came out, inspected our roof, made recommendations for replacement, and supplied us with sample shingles. Once we made our decision, he sent us a detailed estimate. When we accepted the proposal and arranged a date, he came back and covered all the attic contents with tarps, protecting them from debris. The work was completed in two days and cleanup was very thorough. He returned to remove the tarps and canvassed the perimeter for debris, especially nails and tacks. Invoice sent promptly, without any alterations. Highly recommend

I hired Charlotte Roofing Specialist to do a roof replacement at my house. The experience was excellent. Both Mike and Holly had great communication skills throughout the install. The crew that performed the roof replacement was very thorough and did a great job cleaning up each day. Overall, it was a 2 day process to complete the roof replacement. I would definitely hire this company again for roof work.

Unfortunately in my experience, I haven't had the luck to be able to write a great review for a company I used. #Charlotte Roofing Specialists was the best! I am extremely happy with the work they did. The crew was great and Jim was a pleasure to work with. They cleaned up everyday and didn't let junk fly all over the place. NO nails left on my property after the work was done. A six person team instead of having 15 people up on the roof at one time like other companies. There was no way that I could have had a better outcome using another company. I recommend this company 100% Thank you!

Could not have asked for a better experience. I received 3 quotes and they were the only one that WENT UP ON THE ROOF! They took pictures, explained what was causing the issues and what was needed to fix it. Work was scheduled for that same week. They arrived on time, went straight to work and completed on time. The quote was accurate, no up-selling or 'surprises'. They were not the cheapest, they were absolutely the best choice.

On time, John, a professional with a logo on his shirt and on his truck, explained things in simple terms. John even texted me someone to fix my gables to improve air flow. He said I did not need a new roof. I thought for sure, I did. What a relief. I Would hire him again in a minute and recommend him to my friends. He went in the attic and on the roof and spent about 30 minutes reviewing my roof with me. Holly , his assistant, and John are easy to talk too.

David Sammons, the owner of this small business, called to confirm that he was on his way & showed up right on time. He quickly & honestly informed me that the dry wall tape separation on the bathroom ceiling was likely due to shower steam rather than a leak in the roof. I then asked David to inspect the roof since the shingles were already 4 or 5 years old when we bought the house 11 years ago. Also, we had heard a squirrel chewing or scratching on the skylight frame. He promptly put on his "roof walking shoes" to examine the roof & the skylight. He reported that the shingles looked good & probably had another 5 to 8 years of life before needing to be replaced, barring any unusual storm damage. He also reported squirrel teeth marks in the aluminum skylight frame. He got a caulk gun out of his truck & caulked the damaged area & down both sides of the skylight. He refused to take any money & we talked about his business as he was putting the ladder back on his truck. He looked & sounded very professional & I would definitely recommend his company to friends & neighbors.

Nice people to work with, especially the office person. Not much sense of urgency for a leak repair. Took 5 weeks to get someone out to do the repair. Inspector and repair person both missed an additional issue(wood rot) so I still have a leak. They don’t do wood rot repair if you need that. The handyman they recommended for the wood repair unreliable was a dead end. Not sure exactly what I paid $600 for in the end.

I will say that we lost two of our repair mechanics during that timeframe which pushed our repairs out farther than usual. That is no excuse, but just felt it appropriate to provide a little background. At the very least, we should have communicated exactly what was going on with our repair team and the potential impact it could have on timing. This would at least allow you to reach out to another provider if resulting timing was an issue. As for the carpentry reference, we will discuss with him how his poor response can be a reflection of our company. I will send something along in the mail as a token of apology for not communicating our circumstances. Thanks for your understanding, David Sammons."

Good. The estimator provided good advice that saved on unnecessary roof replacement. Covers were installed as scheduled, but they had to make second trip to complete the repairs.

Excellent company. David came in to assess the problem, I initially thought it was attributed to a roofing issue (which is why I called them) but he investigated in detail and discovered it was attributed to a window frame (and showed me the evidence). He had the honesty to tell me this is not a job he can do (as its the source of the problem was not roofing related), and pointed me on the right direction towards a solution. I appreciated his honesty and professionalism.

Three tiles were replaced and all of the vents on the roof were caulked again. The estimate was much better than a local roofing service. We were happy with the timely response and the politeness of the employees. We have recommended this company to neighbors.

It was great. They were spectacular, wonderful as a matter of fact. A very very easy transaction. He actually came to my office and brought me the samples of the tiling and colors. When they were working, I guess we had issues with the electrical. When they were using the nail gun, it knocked the electricity out to the house. I could not get over there due to my job, so they actually went, I guess they had a generator and brought the generator there. They went out of their way. The electrical was the housing. That was within our house. That wasn't their fault.
I did the architectural tile and the total, which included the Angie's discount, was $7800. I thought the price, especially for the architectural, was good. They were very good.
