"Mike was very responsive and went out of his way to make sure the job was done on time and according to the estimate. He sourced the right materials to match our existing siding, had them shipped and delivered AND turned up on the day he said he would and finished the job quickly and to a high standard."

"The estimator returned my phone call that same day and came right on time.  When the painters arrived, the head painter, Albert Jr., soon realized that the floors, being bamboo, would be an issue in terms of holding the paint.  He went to two or three paint stores to find exactly the right primer that was needed.  The team could not have been nicer and more professional.  They did a great job, and really went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied with the job.  They moved furniture (including a heavy sectional sofa), and came back after the job was complete to move it back.  They were very responsive with returning phone calls-- even came back to apply a second coat of paint to the floors, and I would absolutely recommend them highly.  My thanks to the team for their excellent work!

"We were impressed with Sandro's presentation and high standards of quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. He stood out among all those we interviewed. We researched this process and his company thoroughly, even visiting at least five homes he had worked on and speaking the owners, as well as calling a number of others. Everyone was exceptionally satisfied. Sandro allowed us to split the front and back of the house in order to make it more affordable to us, the back will be done in late Spring. The only problem was that they did not show up on the day they said they would. We had a deadline of that Friday for a corporate event at our home which they had ensured they would meet. The next day it was a very late start. After explaining the situation again, I found that Sandro and his foreman Ishmael were willing to do whatever it took to meet the deadline they committed to and make us happy. This negative turned into the greatest positive to display their work standards. They worked so hard, carefully and cleanly, even making more work for themselves by putting all refuse and siding debris into the backyard so the house would look as good as possible for the event. They worked as if it was their own corporate event. We had rain that week which meant their time was constrained even further, to their disappointment. I can't praise them enough for how hard they worked to make up for lost time and not at the expense of quality. They had a painter come out and cover the non-vinyl areas around the door, painted the front door for nothing and did numerous small touches to make it all look fabulous. The job was not finished until the following week, but priority was given to the things that would be noticed by our guests. It ended up looking clean and complete for the event. Sandro saw things on the first walk through that we would not have known were less than perfect. All walk through items were corrected. One spot on our gutter remains compressed a little bit by the ladder and the yard was a muddy mess afterwards due to the rain, but that was a result of how hard they were working in less than ideal weather conditions. The house looks great, the match in color between remaining Masonite and the new vinyl siding is undetectable, for a perfect blend. Furthermore, they worked quietly and respectfully, with no inappropriate demeanor, language or behavior. Even as we were quite concerned at the beginning, they reacted calmly and made amends for the indifference of missing the first day (due to one person's attitude, not the company) several times over. We've had our share of lousy, incompetent and dishonest contractors. Sandro is the guy who makes you wish every contractor and team of workers was like him. Feel free to come take a look at our home and ask us more. We hope Sandro's company thrives."

Siding questions, answered by experts

In Rock Hill, start by inspecting your siding for small gaps or cracks and seal them with a weather-resistant exterior caulk to prevent moisture intrusion. When cleaning mildew or algae, use a diluted bleach solution and rinse thoroughly. Secure any loose vinyl siding panels after temperature changes, and always check for pests or wasp nests before working. If you notice electrical or structural concerns, contact a local professional right away.

Helpful?

In Rock Hill, homeowners often encounter permit and inspection fees, as well as potential HOA approval requirements. Removing old siding may reveal hidden moisture damage or the need for insulation upgrades. Weather delays from summer storms and increased delivery fees in rural areas can also add to the timeline. Always plan for possible structural surprises and document your home’s condition for insurance purposes before starting your siding project.

Helpful?

In Rock Hill, begin each spring by checking for winter damage and recaulking as needed. Before summer, power wash vinyl siding and inspect for gaps or warping, trimming back any overgrown plants. In fall, look for storm-related issues and reseal vulnerable spots before cold weather. During winter, monitor for ice buildup and moisture. Document any changes monthly to track potential problems and maintain your siding’s condition year-round.

Helpful?

Homes in Rock Hill with historic wood siding, split-level designs, or older asbestos panels often require extra care. Foundation settling from local clay soil, shaded areas prone to moisture, or HVAC units close to walls can complicate installation. If your house is multi-story, built before 1980, or shows signs of shifting, consult a local siding expert before starting your project to avoid unexpected challenges.

Helpful?

For Rock Hill’s humid environment, opt for vinyl siding at least 0.044" thick with UV-resistant colors for durability. Fiber cement siding is excellent for moisture resistance, while properly sealed cedar or engineered wood offers a classic look. Use mildew-resistant primers, stainless steel fasteners, and high-quality exterior caulk. Installing a moisture-rated house wrap beneath your siding helps protect against frequent rain and humidity in the area.
