Outstanding price and workmanship! Rich provided me a fair estimate for the work. He kept me informed throughout the wait for foam products to arrive. And upon arrival scheduled work immediately. The workers came and instalked the 6 inch foam as advertised. I am saving now to have Prime return and do my attic.

Great company. We just had them put spray foam in our attic. Rich Brown is a great salesperson. You can believe everything he says. He is very knowledgeable about spray foam. It performs FANTASTIC! Our attic has not been above 79 since it was sprayed. The workers are very professional as well. Highly recommend.

Open cell spray foam under your roof WILL cause humidity problems and without adquate HVAC supply/return in your attic there will be problems. Fixing this problem is NOT cheap, especially if your HVAC equipment is in the basement. Think carefully before you go open cell - Google the "ping pong" moisture problem and completely understand it before you retrofit your house or choose open cell inder the roof deck in new construction.

The Good House is much more comfortable in extreme cold/hot weather. The cost was very reasonable for the amount of insulation installed The Bad The smell. In the summer on hot days there is an almost overpowering smell akin to hot plastic fumes in the attic and my sons room on the 2nd floor. The internet is rife with stories of lingering smell after spray foam insulation so this was of particular concern to me. The salesman said he had done many jobs and lingering odor would not be an issue with the Icenene product as it did not share the same issues that previous foam types had that were the cause of the smell complaints. When the smell failed to abate after a month, they came back and installed a temporary blower fan in the area over the kitchen venting to the outside and said the smell should dissipate in a couple days. There were also multiple areas where they didn't achieve complete coverage, especially along the eves of the house. I have spent a good while with a thermal camera and a foam gun plugging the gaps. The Ugly It's been 18 months since installation and it still smells when it gets hot. To their credit, they did come back out when I brought up my concerns again. However, the take home was along the lines of "You should have been told that installing a fresh air ventilation system was going to be required to control the humidity and smell. Sorry about that. Here is information on a system you should install in your attic". Unfortunately, the parts alone for that system look to run about $2000 and would require professional installation.

My experience with them was not very good. He was injured at that time so I had to help him with the test. I did not really get a whole feel of how good the test was. I did not get any recording or any follow-up. There were no additional charges to the Big Deal. They came out fairly quick. I have no complaints with that. He did the blower test, but I was expecting that he would tell me for sure the areas that needed attention and some sort of reports, but I was the one that determined what windows needed attention. I do not feel comfortable with the results. To me, it was a waste of $175. They could improve on putting things in writing like you have twenty windows and some of them are leaking. That would be nice. I did not get any information from the energy audit. This was my first energy test. They did not do a poor job, but he was injured so he should had someone else to help him out.

"(removed member name), Our sincerest apologies for your experience. The building analyst you met with had broken his arm and was indeed short handed to complete the assessment. I appreciate your honest feedback. In retrospect, we should have rescheduled with you when our analyst was healed. Please let me know if there is anything we can for you now or in the future. Kindly, Jay Melamed"

They did a great job. The first job was a year ago, and the next one was 6 months ago. They did a professional job. They came in and gave me a fair estimate, and they did good work, and they cleaned up when they were done. They did a great job. They were not the cheapest, but I felt it was good value for my money. There were a couple of companies that were cheaper than them. They were very professional.

Rich Brown came to look at my house with his previous company almost five years ago.  I could not afford the insulation at that time, but I really wanted to do it.  I saw this insulation on This Old House, and I called Icynene and they gave me Rich's name and phone number.  Rich came out and measured and gave me a price right on the spot.  I said I couldn't afford it yet, and he was understanding and actually gave me a couple of ideas on how to do it for less.  After that, he checked on my a couple of times, then said he'd call me twice a year to see if I was ready to make the change.  He has called me every six months since then, and when he moved to Prime Energy, he called to tell me, and sent me a new price that was LOWER than he old company's.  Finally, this summer, after five years, I could afford the foam.  Holy cow, my house is cooler.  I only have one electric bill to go by so far, but my June bill is $126.16 less than June of last year.
If you want new insulation, please, please, call this man who was so nice to me, and so patient that he waited five years for me to be ready for my house.

It is very rare that I write reviews but we had such a great experience with the guys at Prime I was motivated to do so. We used another spray foam company at our last house and there is no comparison. The entire process from my first call to project completion was seamless. Rich, the sales guy was prompt, knowledgeable, professional, and followed up without ever being pushy.

Two guys, one named Victor and I'm sorry I don't remember the other gentleman's name showed up the day and time they were scheduled. They where friendly and immediately got started prepping. When I returned home the basement was spotless, there was no overspray and very little odor. We are extremely happy with the job they did and will we using them to spray the attic in the future.

Test was fine. Recommendations coming from the test seemed out of line - foam spray to seal attic and crawl space. I went with another solution / service provider. However, some people may like the foam solution.

Don't buy services for an home energy analysis because that is not what you are going to get. They are just going to try and sell you something.

I feel like I've paid for a sale call. They were trying to sell foam installation. I probably may not use this provider again.

Dave explained my options and clearly set out what I should expect. The scheduling process was also easy. I thought the field crew was very professional, clean, and courteous in my space. They also priced doing work to my crawl space, but I have yet to move forward with that. I plan to have it done in the near future. I think the most important factor is getting clear information. I have heard a lot of different opinions on spray foam and energy remodeling. The guys at Prime did more in terms of educating me than anyone else I spoke with. They were willing to work out several different solutions to meet my needs and budget. NOTE: I have seen an average savings of 25-30%
