He consulted with us and coordinated a variety of subcontractors to make our dream home a reality. He provided sources of information to help us to make crucial decisions on the types of fixtures and appliances that needed to go into the home. He was in constant contact with us to inform us of the status of things due to the supply chain slow down of materials. "Alex arrived on schedule and we reviewed the prioritized list of tasks I had created. He was excellent at communicating issues, like a busted heat sensor on a can light fixture and a compatibility problem with my TV mounts. In the case of one of the mounts, he even disassembled the mount to make it easier for me to return. Alex was also good at pointing out design concerns (e.g. - a can light a little too close to a fan) and proposed an alternative setup. Finally he went out of his way to be fair regarding how he was billing for his time and services. These days I am usually content to find a contractor who is either technically skilled or provides good customer service--it's often one or the other. But Alex exemplifies both of these qualities. I intend to entrust as much work to him as possible."
