"The work was beautiful and the results were impressive. The project came in slightly over budget because of the few additions I made during construction. The work was completed in mid summer 2016. I have already contacted ProGrass for additional work in 2017; a new wood fence!"

"Josh came out the day after receiving my phone call and give me an estimate. He was able to do the work two weeks later and completed the project in 3 and one half days. He responded to all my questions via text or in person and was very easy to work with. He and his partner showed up when they said they would, worked hard and the neighbors and I were pleased with the fences. I had to ask them to move the dirt from some of the new post holes and spread it around rather that leave it in piles and to clean up the gravel from there cement mixer. But they did those things right away and without complaint."

"We had the company build a custom entertainment center, we liked it so much we had them remodel our kitchen to match. We had our kitchen Done not to long ago but we loved the look of the work so much we had to do it in our kitchen. We got three bids and there price was in the middle. They told us the job would take three weeks and it took a little over two! They explained the schedule with us at the contract signing and stuck to it. There was some one at our house every day,and they worked at least 8 hours a day. They were very clean. They built custom cabinets, installed a granite counter with undermount sink, and put a stone floor in. Our kitchen looks very custom! We love it and would recommend them to anyone!

"Design and plan approval happened within one week.  Porch was added on quickly, bump outs and roof added on later. Gutters right after that. It all went well and was accomplished in approx. two months.  Victor was accomodating and helpful with all the estimated costs we asked for.  The workers were friendly and I found no alcohol or drug behavior;  they were in and out of my house with no problems.

"He did an outstanding job. The roof and 2car garage had heavy moss on them and he completed the job in less time than I anticipated. The roof deck and driveway look great now. I will gladly hire him again."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Before scheduling fence installation or repair in Springfield, OR, document your property lines and take clear photos of the current fence’s condition. Measure the length and height of fencing needed, and note any unique features like slopes or tree roots. Identify underground utilities and observe how water drains after rain. Recording these details ensures your fence contractor can provide accurate recommendations and helps avoid surprises during your fencing project.

Helpful?

In Springfield, OR, north-facing fences and those along shaded or low-lying areas are most vulnerable to rot and moisture damage. Gates, entryways, and corner posts often require frequent fence repair due to daily use and weather exposure. Fences near mature trees, irrigation systems, or the Willamette River corridor face added stress from roots, flooding, and shifting soil, while sun-exposed sections can dry out and crack more quickly.

Helpful?

For Springfield’s damp climate, choose rot-resistant wood like cedar or pressure-treated lumber for fence installation. Composite fencing offers low maintenance and durability. For metal fences, opt for galvanized or powder-coated steel to prevent rust. Vinyl-coated chain link is a sturdy choice for wet areas. Use stainless steel fasteners and set posts in fast-setting concrete with gravel for drainage. Applying water-repellent sealers annually extends fence life in Springfield.

Helpful?

Completing a fencing project in Springfield, OR, delivers immediate privacy, security, and a safe space for kids and pets. Over time, quality fencing increases property value, helps prevent boundary disputes, and shields landscaping from wildlife and harsh weather. Well-installed fences can also reduce wind exposure and support energy efficiency. Regular fence maintenance minimizes long-term repairs, making fencing a smart investment for Springfield homeowners.

Helpful?

In Springfield, OR, early signs that your fence may need repair include soft or spongy wood, green or black discoloration, and visible fungal growth, all common after heavy rain. Wobbly posts, sagging gates, or loose panels can signal shifting soil or hardware issues. Rust on hinges or fasteners and encroaching vegetation also indicate potential problems. Prompt fence repair helps prevent more extensive damage during Springfield’s wet, freezing winters.
