"I called on a Friday night, needing to get my carpet cleaned. I got a call from a young man who agreed to come the next day. He came and I wasn't ready so he agreed to come back in a couple hours. He came and did a great job. He was courteous and personable. I definitely will recommend this company."

"Ally and her team did an amazing job at my house! We only got to use her for a few months before we moved but she was always on time and never cut corners. When we officially moved out she did the deep clean to get it ready for the new owners and they were very pleased with her work as well, even asked for her contact info. Great company!"

Customers say: Quick response

"It is not often that you find someone who agrees to do a certain amount of work for you at a certain price but then proceeds to go above and beyond. I was really pleased with the work Arlyn and his team did for us. They were efficient and took the time to understand our needs for the site. Arlyn checked in regularly and consulted me on my preferences if there was ever a part of the job that presented a choice. I would happily recommend Precision Dirt Works to anyone with excavation needs!"

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

You’ve tackled the pee stain on the carpet, but that smell still lingers in the air. Yuck! Fortunately, you can use certain sprays to help remove the odor. A homemade baking soda spray, made with 1/4 cup of baking soda and 2 cups of water in a spray bottle, can help remove the smell of pee. You can also use an enzymatic cleaner directly on the pee stain to deodorize it.

To neutralize mildew smell, you can use natural deodorizers like baking soda or activated charcoal. Baking soda absorbs odors; sprinkle it liberally on the affected area, let it sit for a few hours, then vacuum it up. Activated charcoal, available in pouches, works similarly. Vinegar, with its natural acidic properties, can also neutralize odors. Mix equal parts water and vinegar, spray the affected area lightly, then blot it with a dry cloth. Enzymatic cleaners are effective too, breaking down odor-causing compounds.

Professional cleaning utilizes industrial-grade equipment and formulated cleansers that penetrate deeper into fabrics, removing stubborn dirt without risking damage that DIY approaches might, such as surface abrasion from improper tools.

Most housekeepers are happy to tailor their cleaning checklist to fit your needs. Discuss your priorities and any special requests before the first visit. Be specific about areas of focus or spaces to avoid. Clear communication ensures your home is cleaned exactly as you like, maximizing the value of your investment.

Hydrogen peroxide is an effective stain remover for many kinds of stains on porcelain, ceramic, stone, and stainless steel sinks. Always consult your manufacturer’s instructions to ensure hydrogen peroxide won’t damage your sink. To remove stains with hydrogen peroxide, saturate the corner of a cloth or sponge with peroxide and gently dab at the stain until it lightens.
