"I was going to install a toilet in our basement (replacing an extremely old one that I had already taken out) on Saturday in preparation for relatives coming to visit Sunday evening.  I was having issues getting the old cast iron flange cleaned out enough to install the new toilet which I had already purchased.  I called McLean Plumbing around 11:00am and spoke to Greg and explained the situation.  I sent him my info and pictures and he was able to respond and come over shortly after 2:00pm on extremely short notice, which was definitely appreciated.
Greg was very professional and was able to install the toilet in just under an hour.  He made sure the toilet was level and installed wooden shims to eliminate the possibility of slight rocking.  He even diagnosed an issue with water pressure coming from the hookup which was good to know.  The price was very good for the work performed and I appreciate most of all his quick response that very same day to our desire to get the toilet installed in such a short time frame.
We will definitely use McLean Plumbing again and will recommend to our friends and family in the area.

"We had two bathrooms done, The contractor they sent out to do the work was extremely meticulous (thank you Merle). The reason for the 3.5 rating on customer service is that the company gave us tiny little shelves for a new linen closet that we had installed where the old shower had been. My husband emailed the salesperson a week ago about getting that remedied and hasn't heard back even though the salesperson said he'd look into it. The bathrooms are beautiful, however, we weren't told that they wouldn't patch up drywall until the job was underway. We have painters coming this week to do that and repaint. Guess we still also have to find someone to make us proper sized shelves."

"They were professional and quick. It was a bit pricey in my opinion but most plumbing usually is. We had a clogged drain and they did a mechanical snake from the roof down the vent pipe for $450. They also threw in a 30 day warranty in case the snake didn't fully clear the block, which is reassuring. However, they were confident that the block was resolved. Toilets and shower are draining so it's looking like it worked. Would hire again."
