When I raised concerns, the first project manager dismissed them, then emailed that they had installed a ?vapor barrier per contract,? which was false. A second project manager later admitted in writing that the work was not a full encapsulation and that pricing drove their decision to downgrade the scope?without informing me or changing the contract. Despite my efforts to resolve this professionally, including providing a third-party inspection showing missing components and offering to negotiate, the company missed three deadlines to respond. "

"Hired to replace my existing plaster ceilings with drywall, replace the old blown insulation in the attic with batt insulation, install a new ceiling fan including wiring, and rewire an existing ceiling fan. Juan and his guys are efficient and professional. They always showed up in the estimated time frame. They cleaned up the work area every day before they left and cleaned up at the end of the project. Extremely pleased with the finished work. Jason, the owner, is very responsive to emails, texts, and phone calls. Kitchen ceiling was cracked and falling the day after the estimate and I called Jason and he sent Juan out within an hour or so to brace the ceiling to keep it from falling. This was before I had even signed a contract. He had absolutely no obligation to do that, but I extremely appreciate it. It saved me a mess and damage to deal with. Would absolutely hire them again in the future and highly recommend them."

Don kept me informed through EVERY step of the process because there were the early "snags" that really slowed his installation process. Don has been trained on Navien Tankless Water Heaters, so when my application required another (NEW) Rinnai system (because of space considerations), Don was able to quickly adapt to the situation and install PERFECTLY a product he was never trained on, serviced or installed before. The entire ECO staff was fantastic to work with from the beginning estimate to the end when they had another teammate call and follow-up on the whole project. Your clothes—and your washing machine—will send you a few signals if you’re overdue for cleaning your washing machine filter. If you notice a buildup of detergent residue on your clothes, your clothes don’t dry quickly or at all, or you’re noticing lint in the machine, it’s time to clean the filter. 

For disposal clogs with standing water, use a sink plunger and place it over the garbage disposal drain. Push the sink plunger up and down the drain about six to eight times before lifting. If the sink drains, the clogged food particles are dislodged from the drain. If there’s still standing water, repeat the steps until the standing water clears out. 

There are many things that could cause your basement floor drain to back up. One significant cause of a drainage backup is flushing non-flushable items, such as wipes, paper towels, and facial tissue. Other causes of a backed-up basement floor drain include tree roots impeding the drain pipe or an accumulation of hair, oil, and grease. 

It is okay to use a drain auger on a toilet, just make sure you are using the correct tip size. The auger is a plumbing snake with a protective sleeve to protect the porcelain toilet bowl from getting scratched. Using too large of an auger can cause the snake to loop back and damage the inside of the drain and plumbing.

Bleach isn’t likely to help unclog a sewer line. Bleach isn’t useful in this situation because it won’t dissolve the grime and debris in the clog. Instead, you want to use ingredients that will have a chemical reaction to clear out the buildup, like vinegar or salt and baking soda.
