Donnie was our technician and he was excellent; very professional, personable, patient, and knowledgable. He listened to our concerns, clearly explained all of our options, communicated throughout the entire process, and had four different quote options for us within 15 minutes of looking at the areas we needed work (new sump pump install with back-up battery and fix a broken outflow pipe). He was able to start the work the same day and finished by lunch time! He treated our property with care and respect. He took before and after photos of all the work and sent those to us for our records. He also walked us through all the equipment before he left. We will definitely be going back to this company for all our plumbing, electric, and HVAC needs."

"After having another plumber over (who was also highly rated on Angies List), he simply turned on all my hot water lines and told me "All Fixed". I asked him if we needed to flush the hot water heater and he said no. 5 minutes after the first plumber left, my hot water lines had tons of the resin in it again from the hot water heater and was clogging up all my sinks again. I called the first plumber back and he got irritated with me (I felt he did not believe me) and said there was nothing I could do and I needed to buy a new hot water heater. I called McClean Plumbing finally. They said they couldn't make it out, and I described all that had happened and all the steps I took over the phone. Even though he couldn't come out to my house, this plumber walked me thorough multiple steps and descriptions over multiple calls in enough details that I bought and installed all I needed to fix the issue and save my hot water heater! Very helpful, smart, and considerate guy! Will definitely use them for my future pluming needs.

"Iran, Chris and Brady did a great job. They finished the installation of a sump pump in our crawl space. They also used hydraulic jacks to lift several joists that had water damage. Then they attached sister joists to the damaged ones and then lowed the new joists down onto the sill board. They also used blocking boards to repair/re-enforce the damaged Band/Rim joists as well. Very friendly and courteous. Cleaned up after the job as well."

"We were really impressed by and grateful for how comprehensive the inspection was and how helpful his explanations were. He took multiple pictures and generated an elevation diagram. He did a great job explaining why the current sump pump was insufficient and what improvements should be made. He also walked around the exterior of the house to inspect it for any signs of foundation issues, and he spotted a tiny crack in the brick that was hard to see--that's how thorough he was!  He explained what we should be concerned about and what was due to normal aging.

When he finished his inspection, he set up a mobile office with a laptop and printer on the kitchen counter.  He was able to complete the report on the spot and provided the hard copy of his report before he left.

He was punctual, thorough, polite, and trustworthy.  We feel confident moving forward with the home purchase, and we would definitely hire him and The Basement Doctor to perform any of the suggested upgrades.  "
