The work was performed quickly, but they did have to come back and fix the drainage issue, as they had set the drain as one of the high spots in the basement, not the lowest. So, while it works, it looks odd and I’ve got a drainage tube in a weird spot."

The technicians was prompt and ready to go. He went above and beyond what was asked of him. He assisted and gave me suggestions for my project and did the work I asked him to do. He was definitely a life saver helping me out with my water tank. The service I thought was going to cost a ton of money was Penny's compared to their competitors. "Customers beware! This review is for JK Custom Builders located in Arcanum OH. The Owner/Operator is also the GC/estimator. We hired this General contractor to complete a 16x30 addition onto our home. This entire project was a disaster from the start to an incomplete job. We eventually had to fire this contractor as they are incompetent and do a very poor quality of work. They failed the rough inspections due to poor framing issues and attaching the new roofing to the existing structure. The roofing that they installed was completed twice and by 2 different roofers and will still needs torn off and reinstalled. This contractor refused to complete the roof per current code requirements. They even tore off the existing chimney and tried to rebuild this due to poor planning. This will need to be reframed and rebuilt as the replacement they provided is completely out of plum and is missing the proper flashing/chimney caps. The contractor also destroyed items and would not repair and resolve issues around the property. Due to poor planning our existing basement flooded with water and mud during a rain storm. All carpet will need replaced and we have driveway that was cracked and damaged. The driveway that was damaged was not even near the home and project. The GC refused to acknowledge the damaged. This was due to where he wanted to put the temporary water closet away from the jobsite. We have all items documented and photos taken! A total review process of this company would fill a book! This GC should be avoided for any project! He will belittle you and act as though he has done nothing wrong! I wish I could post all my photo evidence within this post! I also wish I could leave ZERO STARS!"

"Had a water heater go out on a Saturday. A friend of mine gave me Shane's contact information. He was out of town but sent Marco out to my home within 30 minutes of talking with him. Marco ended up installing the water heater first thing Monday morning after the part that was ordered didn't remedy the situation. Marco was pleasant, and effecient. He was concientious and went over usage with me afterwards. Shane was quick to stay in touch and follow up as well. Would highly recommend"

"Homeowners beware. This company does not do what they say. They destroyed our yard and gave reassurances theyâ d be back to fix and finish the job. Nothing was done and about 50% was done of what they were paid to do. We are trusting people and paid in full as we were assured they would be back to finish and clean up and fix the damages. No. Kyle is extremely unprofessional and certainly not trustworthy. His excuse now after letting time run out with the BBB is that we wouldnâ t pay in full if it wasnâ t correct. We were scammed by this complany. He now acts like and actually said we are trying to swindle money from him. That couldnâ t be further from the truth. All weâ ve asked is for him to do what he says. Itâ s a shame that people and companies like this exist. His attitude on the job site is beyond rude and unprofessional. He would barge into our home with out knocking to the point my wife was uncomfortable being home when he was there. Protect your friends and family from this awful company."
