We are a full service well drilling, well pump, and water treatment company. We offer free pump inspections on site, and we also offer free water quality tests for the inside of the home. Currently we have 4 dedicated crews to handle service calls, well pump repairs and replacements, and new well exploration and drilling services. We install re-pressurization systems to boost water pressure and septic pumps. We also have dedicated personnel who are available 24hrs a day to handle water emergencies, for example, no water in the house, damaged or faulty pumping systems, or contaminated or hindered water supply to the premises. We do all of our work in house, and do not subcontract. We offer free estimates and inspections and there is no charge for our visit to the house. We are a family owned and operated business and pride ourselves in a high level of integrity and professionalism.

"We called the Water Doctor after waking up with no water. We came to find that our pump needed replaced. A local competitor gave us a quote, we called to get a second quote. The Water Doctor cut that initial companies quote in half. They set up an appointment for the next morning, the well was fixed quickly and efficiently. Frank even fixed a potential future problem. So refreshing to find an honest local company that offers quality service. The Water Doctor will be our go to company from now on for well needs. Very professional and friendly service."

"Top Notch Plumbing did an excellent job of replacing our galvanized pipe with pex, installing a new water heater, and trenching a new water main. The whole team is professional, in work, customer service, and cleaning up after their work. Top Notch took the time to 'think the job through' and cut out as little of our drywall as possible, in order to get to the pipes underneath. Also, they were very good in disturbing our front yard as little as possible with the trenching that needed to be done. We had quotes from several different plumbers, and Top Notch gave us the most reasonable quote for the work done. Thanks, Top Notch!"

Here at Water Filtration Experts we have an advisory panel of industry professionals that consists of engineers, scientists, plumbers, and municipal officials. These people were sought out specifically for their individual expertise and passion for the ultimate goal, truth in water filtration. We formed a world-class website and loaded it with proven facts and actual field data to help the consumer cut through the clutter of mis-information on the web, filtration quotes from plumbers, and misguided neighbor’s opinions.

"My wife and I recently built a new home in the area and needed to have a water filtration system installed. We were concerned about water impurities and after looking into a number of companies, opted to go with Water Filtration Experts. Very good decision! After conducting very thorough tests on the water, John reviewed the results with us. John is extremely well versed in all aspects of water filtration and provided a very good explanation of the results as well as his recommendations. The equipment was installed very professionally and works great. John is always there to answer questions and has been a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Water Filtration Experts. Brian and Flavia"

Water Softeners questions, answered by experts

A single shower consumes an average of over 17 gallons, while brushing your teeth with the water running uses up to four unnecessary gallons. Watering the lawn spreads hundreds of gallons of water across the yard each time. Limiting water usage in these areas can significantly cut down your water bill.

It’s not a good idea to oversize your water softener. Doing so will mean the tank doesn’t get full, which can lead to channeling. This leads to a large portion of the resin beads not being utilized and the beads at the bottom of the tank being overused. Over time, this will reduce the efficiency of your system, not to mention that the upfront cost of an oversized softener is unnecessarily high. If you have a timed regeneration cycle rather than a demand-based one, you’ll also spend far more on replacing salt than you need to.

Hard water doesn’t hurt, but it might feel more abrasive, especially if you have sensitive skin. It’s also about how your skin feels after bathing. You might feel as though you have a sticky film over your body because you do—it’s all that soapy residue left behind because the hard water can’t rinse it off completely.

To get utilities set up on a property, you first have to contact the local department of planning to determine whether your property is able to connect to public utilities. From there, you can work with a structural engineer and/or a building contractor to design the layout of utility lines on the property. The pros will need this information as they begin securing building permits before they can start adding lines.

If your property isn’t able to connect to public utilities, you’ll need to consider working with pros to develop a comfortable off-grid home that will meet your needs.

It depends on the type of surface. For instance, if you’re trying to get rid of hard water deposits on glass, you can spray vinegar onto the surface and wipe it off with a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge. However, if the deposits are on granite or natural stone, it’s better to use baking soda and water rather than vinegar or other acidic cleaners.
