"Before I called Maynor, I had 4 other companies give me an hvac replacement quote. Maynor was the 5th. I was very impressed with Mike who gave me the estimate. He exactly gave me the picture of what HVAC I was going to get and gave me choices and time to think about it. I decided to go with Maynor because of their reputation. NATE certified installers. I was right. Junior and Biri came to install my trane hvac with both heating and cooling. I also had zoning done. Very professional. Came on time at 7:30 and finished around 4 pm as I had zoning done the same day. Very impressed with the work done and the efficiency is to say the least. The next day, Jaime (supervisor) came to my house and reassured me that everything is working great. I appreciate the reassurance as it is a big investment. They are open 24/7 and they listen to your needs. Competitive quote and honestly lower than everyone else considering the quality of work. My heating was in the attic and the work was outstanding (I took before and after pictures and inspected everything they did). The zoning works perfect. If you are looking for quality, efficient and superb work, go for Maynor. You will never go wrong. I had researched, read all reviews and got estimates from 4 other big hvac installers. I was not convinced until I met Mike who was honest, detailed and organized. The only one who gave me the specific model number of the hvac I was getting and educated me regarding the different kinds of hvacs. Also, he did not push me to go with other brands like all the other 4 companies did. Maynor took care of me and I know they will take care of you too."

"Luckily, I had invested some time researching Angie’s list. Naturally, I was looking for the top performing companies and for loads of happy A’s. That’s how I found Cape Fear! My service tech, BTW, was sharp and very professional. I enjoyed doing business with the whole Raleigh Cape Fear team, as it turned out. I'm buying a home in a golf course community across town, as I write this review. The Sellers at that property are working with me to resolve some, hopefully, small issues with their HVAC units (so that this sale will run smoothly). Though, I just researching their HVAC provider’s (1.5 stars … gulp!) rating --and his one page "pricey" report. Looked like very hefty charges (to the Sellers) for what is listed as a “quick fix". I am sure I will want to do my own system inspection, now. And, Cape Fear can give me that peace of mind."

He diagnosed the problem and explained it to us in terms we could understand and trust. Our system was aged so we opted to have the heat pump and air handler replaced. Joshua Long and his team replaced all of that plus a new digital thermostat the next day. The total price was a few thousand less than what we expected to pay. If there were more than 5 stars to rate with, we would give more stars."

"Jason Hogg did an exceptional job installing our new hot water heater. We have an Apollo heating system which largely depends on hot water flowing to HVAC. No water heater =No heat. The tank he replaced had lots of issues many due the last technician who installed it. Between water pressure way to high, Inappropriate ventilation, and several other deep concerns which basically broke down a 5 year old water heater. Jason was excellent at explaining what went wrong and what & why the new heater was need. We now have a bigger tank hooked up correctly! We will be adding better ventilation for the new tank. There were also issues with the older turning handles on our main water shut off that he replaced. I also must add that we had another before technician before Jason who came to service our water heater we requested. He informed us what we needed a technician for the Apollo systems water heater. Problem: quote way to low Jason dealt with our rage over price diff. He was fabulous a"

"Kenny did excellent hvac work for me two years ago and we hadn't needed him again until recently when our upstairs air was blowing warm. I called him that evening and he was there the following morning and we were enjoying cool air the same afternoon. I especially appreciate this because most tradesmen forget all about you once the work is done and your check clears. Until I met him I associated his level of hvac knowledge with someone old and grizzled but Kenny is a young respectful professional who knows his business. His pricing is fair and he is interested in your satisfaction with the job when he's done. When you find someone good you might be tempted to keep them to yourself but I want to see his business grow because he deserves it. Call him."
