"I first met Jeff Moore of Capital Siding, Windows and Roofing in 2018. It was time to reroof my 110+ year-old house (that has more hips and angles than a fashion show) and I wanted to do it right. I took 5 bids (6 if you count the company that was a no-show) and ended up with a range of bids that varied by nearly $20,000. Capital came in near the midpoint of the bids but it wasn't the price that sold me - it was the care they put into their bid and the feeling I got from Jeff and, later, his son Danny. They included more detail than any of the other companies I considered and I spent quite a bit of time on the phone with Jeff over the course of a couple of weeks where he answered all of my questions and explained all of my options. Jeff struck me right from the start as an earnest, straight-up guy who was giving me his best offer. No posturing, no pressure, just a good offer and a good feeling. Undertaking a major project on my house, my biggest asset, was stressful. I was worried about everything. Is this a fair price? Is this the right company? Will the crew stay on schedule? Will they damage the property with their equipment? Do I have any idea what I am doing? Ultimately, you have to make a decision and for me, that's usually going with a gut feeling.
