Once we chose two roof colors we were interested in, Jeff provided us with houses in the area to look at to see how the roofs actually looked on houses. This was very helpful in making our decision. Capital got us on their schedule very quickly. The crew supervisor Azael was fantastic to work with. He explained about a dip in the garage roof and how they would fix it. It was reasonable, inexpensive, and we gave the approval. The crew completed the roof work in two days. They were prompt, friendly, and did a fantastic job of cleaning up. "Chase from Excel Renovation was great to work with regarding our residential garage roof leak. He was very personable and there was excellent/ professional communication in talking through the potential issue and then scheduling a time to meet. Chase ended up starting with a simpler repair approach first, re-fastening and re-sealing a roof flashing, which we agreed was the right thing to do for our type of roof leak (very small leak) and for this cold time of year (late Nov). He was very honest in what he thought was the likely issue and digging deeper right away in our case, instead of just resealing and testing first, may cause more harm than good. He would not take any money for the repair…I tried though. :-) He said to keep an eye on it during the upcoming rain and snow melt(s) and he could always dig deeper if needed in the spring, removing interior sheetrock and then applying water with a hose over suspected area on the roof. If you’re looking for an honest company that won’t steer you wrong, give these guys a call. I highly recommend this company and I would definitely work with them again!"

"This is a follow up from work done 2 years ago. Roof/gutters still great and siding ok. However the metal that was installed over the soffit in several areas is pulling away and one piece blew off in the wind. After looking close at several areas on a tall ladder I found many nails not pounded into the wood soffit hence the reason many areas were pulling away. Walker did come out and repair several areas recently after I called so that was good. Hopefully all else holds up for at least what should be the expected lifetime but I have my doubts at least on the soffits. Look closely at photos submitted to see what is happening."

"The work went pretty well overall. The work was done quickly--over two days--and efficiently. There was some problem with one of the roofers swearing (we have small kids at home) and some of our neighbor's plants got trampled. The biggest concern was with the person who did the estimate. Communication was delayed a number of times. Also, the original estimate for the flat roof section was several thousand dollars too low. Happily, replacing the flat roof was a separate section of the bid and we decided not to pursue that part of the project. However, the estimator should have gotten onto the flat roof section while doing the initial estimate to have gotten a more accurate read of the situation."
