"I called Buck after a recommendation from my neighbor to help me look at my older roof after a big storm and he was able to come out the same day! Buck was professional, knowledgeable, kind and incredibly helpful! He found a huge hole in our upper roof and helped put a tarp on it while we waited for word from insurance. (Which was a huge relief!) Replacement was fast! They were here within two weeks and replaced my roof quickly and efficiently! The crew was clean, kind and professional and my roof looks fantastic! "Steve Bormann was top notch! Always answered questions; explained everything that needed to be done; was very punctual; returned phone calls promptly. In total, I feel he (and his crew) went way above and beyond in doing the roofing. Replaced all vents with proper types. Capped one he didn't probably need to, but he said he was afraid the pipe might have been cracked inside the house, thus allowing a water leak. He and his crew were efficient and got the job done very quickly...and I know it was done correctly! His charge was VERY reasonable and he put some confidence back in me that there are still good roofing contractors out there. (Last year I dealt with a local contractor that I could only say was a real shyster. In fact he was fined by the State Of MN for his bad business practices. It was a very bad experience for me!) Bottom line: If I would ever need another roofing done, I'd call Bormann Bros. contracting! I highly recommend them!!"

"Chase from Excel Renovation was great to work with regarding our residential garage roof leak. He was very personable and there was excellent/ professional communication in talking through the potential issue and then scheduling a time to meet. Chase ended up starting with a simpler repair approach first, re-fastening and re-sealing a roof flashing, which we agreed was the right thing to do for our type of roof leak (very small leak) and for this cold time of year (late Nov). He was very honest in what he thought was the likely issue and digging deeper right away in our case, instead of just resealing and testing first, may cause more harm than good. He would not take any money for the repair…I tried though. :-) He said to keep an eye on it during the upcoming rain and snow melt(s) and he could always dig deeper if needed in the spring, removing interior sheetrock and then applying water with a hose over suspected area on the roof. If you’re looking for an honest company that won’t steer you wrong, give these guys a call. I highly recommend this company and I would definitely work with them again!"

"We were really impressed with the care that Boe took to make sure that our custom fitted deck was exactly right for our needs. He & his team did such an amazing job. We just love our new deck! It was a challenge to figure out how to get the most out of a small space but Boe was able to figure it out. The crew was so nice to work with. I was so happy with their work, customer service and communication from their team, that when a hailstorm came through, they were 1st people I called. They did a thorough inspection and provided enough information to call in a claim. They met with the insurance company and now we have a beautiful roof that really enhances the curb appeal. During the install they were very mindful of all of the gardens I had around my home. There was a mother mallard on a nest beside the house and they were so careful not to scare her. "Roofing was fine, but when I called because of a leak 3 months after the warentee period, I was told the rate per roofer was $185 for the first hour and $98 per hour after that. No flexibility or willingness to work with me at all. The leak was not new just newly discovered. Does not matter. Legally they may be right but this attitude is not what customer service I want to have in my life. They will not get additional work from me."
