Along the way, Hal fixed some off-kilter gates in our yard, and also consulted with me about some stains on our stucco (thus managing to solve a problem that had stumped several other contractors). He's always on the end of the line when I have a home repair question. He's been there for me for some five years now. There's plenty of quality workers out there, but not many who will listen as well, contribute as much, and return as often as Hal Morris."

"I have submitted a prior report citing the issues we encountered with Portico. However, I want to rectify that report and replace it. Clint Hanson, owner, met with us yesterday and accepted full responsibility for the costs we incurred to correct a plumbing problem caused by his employees, as well as some major inconveniences they caused. My husband and I were deeply impressed with Clint's willingness to accept responsibility, incorporate new practices into his business and his commitment to righting the situation. We would probably use him again since his overall work was good and his is willing to discuss and take responsibility for these issues."

"The work looks OK from the outside. But the experience was poor . The specific product contracted for was not applied. There was damage to the insulation material under the siding because they worked off ladders versus using platforms. They dropped an expensive barn light which I had to replace at my expense. The crew was never checked on by the supervisors. It's probably my fault I did not stop the workman when I realized they did not have the correct materials and were going to install it anyway. It probably wasn't the crews fault. It was managements."
