"Marsh Contracting worked us into their schedule. Painters arrived on time and worked straight through until project was complete. Painters were skilled and professional. We look forward to working with Marsh Contracting again."
"The project went very well. I am super happy with the quality of the work, the communication from the company, and the professionalism of the employees. It took longer than we initially discussed because I increased the scope of work when I saw how beautifully everything was coming out. If I there is more work to do in the future, I will call them. They do not just offer painting, they offer the whole range of general contractor activities."
"We are very pleased with how our bathroom turned out. We enlarged the master bath into an adjacent bedroom. Now we have a cabinet with drawers, the same size shower as before, and a partially re-arranged floor plan. Gary scheduled the other contractors needed to complete the job: plumbing, electrical, tile, granite work, and paint. The job took longer and cost more than originally planned (these things generally do). We had the work done 2 years ago and are still very pleased with the work."

"I was ecstatic with the work done by morpho carpentry!! They stuck to their quote. . . got the work done quickly and professionally and were a joy to work with! I highly recommend them to anyone!"
"Cannot recommend highly enough. The owner Dave was a pleasure to work with. His subcontractors were punctual, polite and went above and beyond for us. We are new business and budget and timeline was really tight. We are so so happy with the work that he did and will absolutely use him in the future. 100% A+ recommendation."
"I should tell you that he was the 3rd contractor to show up with an estimate. The 1st, which advertises eavuily on sports radio, could not even offer a solution and simply left after 15 minutes. The 2nd, a snake oil saleman, wanted $4000 to dig out the basment along 3 walls to solve the problem (overkill and I'm out $3000 too much) His 2 men showed up on time and completed the task that day but advised there was still blockage which had to be snaked out. I subsequently received a call from Brian, 4-Ever's plumber, who set up an appointment came out and snaked the line clear. He even went to the store bought me 3 plugs..one brass one so I could lay carpet w/o a bump where the cleanout was and 2 more for the storm drain and the sewer drain which were never ( after 60 years) opened. He even took the time to show me how to break out the original brass plugs and how to install new PVC ones. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH OTHER CONTRACTORS NOT ON ANGIE'S LIST AND 4-EVER LEADS THE PACK "

Proper Murphy bed installation minimizes the risk of wall damage. A secure attachment requires making some holes for anchors or brackets, but these can be easily patched if the bed is removed. To ensure the installation is done correctly and safely, hiring a professional is recommended, especially if you have limited DIY experience.
One of the most common house framing basics for decades has been using wood for the framing work. However, some framing contractors now suggest using steel frames. Steel is lightweight, resistant to fire, and resistant to moisture, all of which are areas where wood framing could cause problems. However, steel framing is more expensive than wood and limits your ability to insulate the home.
Installing a tongue-and-groove wall requires similar techniques to those associated with installing shiplap. However, because of the precision necessary to make each board fit perfectly and the increased material prices, the cost is higher than that of shiplap installations. Expect to spend between $2 and $6 more per square foot for tongue-and-groove walls versus shiplap ones.
When choosing a drywall anchor, consider the weight of the object you're hanging and how much weight the anchor will need to support. The heavier the weight, the stronger the anchor you'll need. You’ll find the weight capacity on the packaging when shopping for anchors.
Also, remember that you can use more than one anchor when hanging something on the wall. If you're using multiple anchors, divide the object weight by the number of anchors to determine how much each will need to support. If you need help deciding which drywall anchor to use, you can hire a handyperson to hang your objects.
A cross brace for a fence gate should stretch from the top corner of the gate’s hinge side to the bottom corner of its latch side at a 45-degree angle to the bottom of the gate. This positioning distributes the bulk of the gate’s weight to the base of the post, taking pressure off the top hinge.
