It went very well. Gary kept to contract and schedule and built a solid old-fashioned product. He also was willing to look at and install a few newer things such as mini-split and waterless water heater. I enjoyed him and his peeps.

Assisted in the home inspection prayer to purchase. Inspect home for structural integrity, mold, electrical code, noted deficiency in chimney which help to save money in the purchasing of this home. Assisted in remodeling of the kitchen. Excellent.

We are very pleased with how our bathroom turned out. We enlarged the master bath into an adjacent bedroom. Now we have a cabinet with drawers, the same size shower as before, and a partially re-arranged floor plan. Gary scheduled the other contractors needed to complete the job: plumbing, electrical, tile, granite work, and paint. The job took longer and cost more than originally planned (these things generally do). We had the work done 2 years ago and are still very pleased with the work.

I had a flood so I needed a lot of work everything looks wonderful , very professional. Work was completed in a timely manner . I felt comfortable having the work done while I was at work. I definitely recommend Gary for any project you want done professionally. Gary was the project manager and did a lot of the work himself .

Gary was responsive, gave a free estimate that was fair for the work we wanted done. He completed the work as asked in the timeframe expected. He is very knowledgeable and gives great recommendations for completing the work in a cost-effective way as well. We also called again for him to quote another problem we had, and he gave us a suggestion for how we could fix the problem ourselves at a lower cost. He's honest, reliable and does great work. We will definitely have him back for more work in the future!

There were several pieces of lumber that needed to be cut out and replaced, which required strengthening the whole structure with wooden braces while the work was being performed. Gary had to think outside the box and consider different options to find the best solution. In the end, the approach he took was relatively quick for the situation and very safe. The result was a carport nicely restored, stronger than it has ever been. Throughout the process, Gary was responsive, efficient and very good at explaining his train of thought and his plans. And the price was very reasonable. Overall, a great professional which I recommend without any hesitation.

Gary was very responsive in scheduling the work for a kitchen install under short notice. He and his team were very courteous and punctual, doing an excellent job in pointing out challenges in the design layout and suggested resolutions. He also lined up additional contractors that were needed for flooring and plumbing. Would definitely recommend and plan to contact him again for future projects.

It is a pleasure to work with Gary. He is pleasant and responsive to questions. He begins with a detailed estimate and when the job gets changed by unexpected circumstances he amends the estimate accurately. He keeps in touch by email and keeps us in the loop as to when things will be done. Most importantly, his work is excellent and he stands by it. As a contractor, if he doesn't do the work himself, he has specialists on his team who work with him and he stands by all of their work as well. It is amazing. The home is so different now and the views we have to Lake Michigan and Glen Lake are spectacular from the new dining room and bedroom. We can now be making dinner and still be a part of the conversation in the rest of the house. He gave us just what I asked for and even added his own touch in the form of hand made bookshelves and a gate to block off the stairs to the basement. If I changed my mind about something or wanted something a little different, Gary was flexible and did what I wanted. Having to work 4 1/2 hours from his home meant a lot of travel back and forth and Gary did it willingly, even when the weather was uncooperative. Gary did a great job and we are very pleased with the outcome.
