"Elliot gave inspected the areas of the house (exterior) that we had noticed were rotting.  He than inspected all of the exterior (at our request) and found additional rot.  He gave us an estimated that was very reasonable.  We told him that there was no hurry to get the job done.  He scheduled the job at a specific date, showed up on that date and finished up in a timely manner.  At all times he was courteous and explained exactly what was needed.  He encouraged us to go with a more inexpensive option (plastic), which looks identical to the original wood."

"Mike was able to provide a thorough in home estimate quickly. We agreed on a price for the initial trim carpentry, interior door installation and casing along with numerous areas that required correction from prior substandard workmanship. Mike and his crew arrived early, worked diligently to provide meticulous craftsmanship. A true professional, one who takes pride in his work every step of the way through to completion. It has been my experience, that sort of dedication to home renovation is a rarity of late. He isn’t cheap and he doesn’t cut corners. My advise if you want your job done perfectly the first time, minus the stress and strain, hire MGM!"

"My wife and I are first time home buyers and this was our first project. His business stuck out to me as he is an actual licensed mechanical engineer with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Dale installed a new central air unit, tankless water heater, wi-fi thermostat and brought our furnace up to code to pass city inspection. He always answered his phone/returned messages and showed up when he said he would. Absolutely fantastic to work with."

"I have to admit, I was really disappointed with my overall experience. I was told that I could one time do a reimbursement. First off, why would you do that if you have already paid for service?!?! Then it took almost a week to get some one to address my situation. Now, I do realize that it does take time to get things rolling, but a week?? The gentleman that came to do the work was knowledgeable, but he didn't want to work with he Google representative to make sure that my NEST was/wasn't working properly. He was very short with the rep. and after several minutes of debating with him finally gave in and addressed both of our concerns. The other concern I had was, I was told that I would not have to pay anything this time, because of the delay, yet the rep. said I owed $65.00. He showed me the data he had and sure enough it said that I owed $65.00. Why, would a rep. from your own company tell me this and then turn around and not honor it?!?!? I sure hope that it doesn't take that long to get service the next time, that I need to have something done. What ever happened to customer service?? REALLY DISSSAPPOINTED!!!"

Nest Installation questions, answered by experts

In Lansing, pest control may interact with your home’s HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. For example, sealing gaps near ductwork can alter airflow, while exclusion work in attics or basements might require brief power shutoffs for safety. Treatments around plumbing penetrations could temporarily limit access. Before starting, ask your pest control provider how exclusion or moisture management steps might impact ventilation, insulation, or system accessibility in your home.

Helpful?

Lansing homes often require pest control in basements and crawl spaces, where moisture and clay soil attract rodents and spiders. Attics and eaves are common entry points for bats and squirrels. Kitchens and bathrooms, with their plumbing gaps, frequently see ant and cockroach activity. Don’t overlook garages and exterior foundations—freeze-thaw cycles in Lansing can create new entry points for pests each year.

Helpful?

Completing pest control in Lansing provides immediate relief from infestations and improves indoor air quality by reducing allergens. Over time, you’ll protect your home’s structure, prevent expensive repairs, and maintain property value. Consistent pest control also reduces emergency treatments, supports a healthier living environment, and helps your home withstand Lansing’s seasonal pest pressures, giving you greater peace of mind throughout the year.

Helpful?

Lansing homeowners increasingly choose integrated pest management, combining exclusion, sanitation, and targeted treatments for lasting results. Smart devices like digital traps and moisture sensors are gaining traction. Eco-friendly solutions, such as botanical-based sprays, are popular with families and pet owners. Many residents invest in pest-resistant landscaping and seasonal service contracts, adapting their approach to Lansing’s climate and the area’s most common pest threats.

Helpful?

In Lansing, urgent action is needed if you notice termites, rodent droppings, wasp nests near entryways, or signs of bed bugs, as these can quickly worsen. Seasonal pests like ants and spiders can often be managed with preventive exclusion or scheduled treatments. Consider local pest activity peaks—spring and fall are prime times for proactive service, while winter may be best for addressing hidden infestations before they spread.
