We came across Kris Werner's excellent and comprehensive essay on the different types of shingles and roofing materials and I decided to call him to ask if he could comment on two estimates we had obtained. Mr. Werner very graciously agreed to review the estimates and comment on the pro and con of each. We are grateful for Mr. Werner's comments and for his kindness. We live in New York, but we'd definitely hire Werner Roofing if we lived in MI."

Family owned and operated since 1944, Wallside sells directly to the homeowner, manufacturing and installing its own products. With a factory/showroom located in Taylor, Mich., the vinyl window manufacturer services two thirds of the lower peninsula of Michigan and northwest portions of Ohio.
"Had a couple windows installed on Tues. June 20th. The screen on one was ripped, the installer said they would put a order in right away and have it out this week. There was no signoff's on work. Some of the caulk jobs around the windows are a little sub-par for my liking. Not the best quality work. Called the office for clarification on when my screen would be here this week. They had no knowledge of it, and it had to be ordered. Now it'll be July 8th before they can get out here. Had used their competitor (Hansons) for my last house. The comparison between the two is much different. Will probably go back to Hansons for the rest of the house here."
