We needed advice on a couple of estimates to replace the roof on my son's house near Boston, MA. We came across Kris Werner's excellent and comprehensive essay on the different types of shingles and roofing materials and I decided to call him to ask if he could comment on two estimates we had obtained. Mr. Werner very graciously agreed to review the estimates and comment on the pro and con of each. We are grateful for Mr. Werner's comments and for his kindness. We live in New York, but we'd definitely hire Werner Roofing if we lived in MI.

Chris Werner responded to my telephone within the day. He and one of his supervisors were there the following day, and the day after that the flashing had been manufactured by a third party vendor to Werner's specifications and was installed by Werner. Quick response, fast service, professionals all the way.

- Replacement was fast, efficient, and done in a single day. - Cleanup of removed material was very good. - Color choice of replaced shingles so close to original roof, you cannot tell the difference; impressive!

It went well the sale man said everything covered in the price they quoted me then I prepaid then they came out and did and awesome job. did not like the foreman he said he would be here at certain time an not show up 3x than at the end of roofing my house asked for more money I think he was trying to pocket some extra money for him self which did not pay !

Great! Matt was here the day we called and gave us an estimate on the spot. He was knowledgeable of his products and easy to talk to. The crew that came out were super hard workers and courteous. It was a very windy day and they did their best to keep all the waste under control. They needed to do a few extra repairs but stuck to the original estimate...no surprises. Would definitely hire again.

It was very, very good. A tree fell on our roof and put a big hole in it. They came out and repaired it. They came out right away and did a good job. I just had to pay the deductible from my insurance. I would absolutely use them again. I'm a very picky customer and they have great quality.

They did some damage on my gutters, so they had to come back out and fix that. They were kind of careless on my gutters. I had gutter guards and they kind of mess them up. They didn't fix them when they left. They had the metal mesh all mangled up, so they ended up just replacing it. In regards to their fixing things, it was good, but as far as the workers that were there, I think it was careless.

A person came out on a Tuesday to inspect the roof and give an estimate. He told me that he would have a crew out on Thursday to fix the roof. Thursday was rainy so I didn't think anything of them not showing up. When they hadn't shown up by Friday noon I called their offices and asked when they were going to show up. The lady I talked to in the office said that it would be at least 2 weeks before anyone came out to fix my roof. I told her what the agent said and she said that he shouldn't have said that they would be out that soon as they had other jobs to do first. Over the next 3 weeks they didn't show up twice when sceduled. When they did show up they did a decent job but the delays were intolerable. I would never hire this company to do any work for me again.

Had the roof inspected and quoted for a new roof along with a couple other things that I needed to have done. Quote was not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. It did take a little longer than expected to have work begin, mainly due to it being so rainy which is not fault of theirs. Once work began, they completed the job promptly and cleaned up the area well. Overall a very good experience and I would definitely recommend them.

- Installation went as scheduled without issue. Promptly sent repair person to fix some siding which I could not get anyone else to do. All personnel were courteous and professional. Definitely a plus experience.

Werner did a great job. They came in similarly priced to their competition and completed the job extremely quickly. We chose Werner because of the Leafguard gutters and great references from friends in the area. The gutters are a little more expensive than standard gutters, but are completely worth it. I never have to go on my roof again to clean my gutters, and they look great! They have the GAF Master Elite certification for roofs that only 3 companies in the area have as well and it shows.
Another thing I really liked about Werner is they didn't toy around with me with marketing shams. Some larger companies will come back to you if they haven't heard from you and waste your time with things like 'we want to send someone from our commercial branch', when really they just want to tell you that they are great and you should sign right now. It's basically a pressure sell tactic. Werner did not do this. They gave me the price, told me what they use and why and explained their certifications and warranties. After that, it was up to me and if I had any questions they were very responsive and straightforward. I highly recommend them.
