Pretty poor experience overall. A few "highlights" below Missing caulk, and holes in caulk around chimney flashing on day 1 Was told they'd arrive at 9, and instead they came at 6 AM and woke my kids up tearing off the roof. When I went to ask them what was going on I got "no ingles" as a response. Supposedly nobody on the crew could speak english... They decided it would be best to hack the t-pipes and bends on my furnace vents and leave open to the elements since "4 guys ordered the wrong boots" rather than just going to buy a split boot or attempting to slip over (they had no intention of telling me) They bent my TV antenna They cracked the drywall in my vaulted ceiling entryway from throwing bundles so carelessly (It's clearly written in the contract they aren't responsible as they know how careless there crews are. Interestingly the supply house delivered all the shingles to the top of my roof with no issue, but when 4 guys crew arrived and started throwing them from above there waist it cracked) No prep to control debris and nails from tear off so still finding them in the yard where my kids and dog play. They threw out the stainless mesh covers I had on my vent stacks to keep birds and debris out They left the old powerline gasket just hanging on the pipe Apparently straight lines are up there with speaking english also, there is a + or - 1" difference on the shingle overhang wherever they had to cut them.

Was very impressed at how fast, efficient and clean the job went. Very professional.

The crew was very respectful of our property. They completed project in 2 days. They kept me updated when product would arrive and starting date and time every Friday. When crew was finished they cleaned everything up. Our yard was back to normal when the crew left. The dumpster was pickup the next day.

4 guy's and a roof did a Amazing job they even had (WonderWoman) lady with them she and the men did their thing I've already referred my 2 of my client to them I'm so satisfied people are stopping and looking at my roof i love my roof great job the price was well in my budget thanks again guy's

There was delay with the rainy weather. Once the work was able to start it went quickly, the workers were very professional and communication with the home office was great for the most part. There was an additional cost more that the estimate for one of the buildings. It was not known to the owners until the final bill was sent. The office manager was informed that this was a needed courtesy as it involved several owners that was responsible to cover the increase. He was very respectful and agreed. Was very punctual responding to emails and phone calls when there were any questions. This was much appreciated. The work done on two buildings, each with 4 units and two unattached garages look wonderful. It was money well spent. The crew were hard workers, professional and efficient.

Job was done well and crew leader Chris was very professional and courteous during the two day job. Very good communication and excellent job with site cleanup.

4 Guys and a Roof LLC patched a corner of the flat rubber roof covering my sunroom in the summer of 2018. In the last 18 months the wood structure directly beneath that corner of the roof began showing signs of significant water damage and rot. The company came to inspect the project when I raised the issue with them. They determined their work and materials used did not result in the water damage and that they would not repair it or cover the cost to repair it. I made an investment in this company to protect my home from possible water damage and almost immediately after they finish, I get water damage. I would strongly discourage any potential customers from engaging 4 Guys and a Roof, LLC.

I am very happy with Steve's honesty, professionalism, and quality of work. I had a different company come out to fix the leaks, needless to say they just made matters worse on one leak and didn't fix the other one. When I called them back, that person just kept telling me that I needed a new roof. Steve came out and fixed what they were supposed to do and found the source of the other leak (that the other company didn't even bother to look for). Steve fixed both problems, and never used the excuse of my needing a new roof. I will need a new roof within a few years and I will definitely be calling 4 Guys and a Roof.

They did a very good job. Working with them was easy, professional and efficient.

Steve McCutcheon was very knowledgeable and professional in every facet of the job. He contacted me very promptly and came to our house to understand exactly was was needed to repair a part of our roof that was identified as part of a pre-sale home inspection that we finally had the opportunity to take care of. His quote was seemed reasonable for the work to be performed since it was a 3-stage process to make the repair. He gave us a realistic timetable and was in constant contact when there was a delay due to weather and/or fabrication necessary. We would hire him again. He represents the Company/Franchise well and the job was expertly completed.

Work was done in an excellent fashion. Workers did an excellent job and worked for 3 days under 98 degree heat. Very please with the work and would recommend to anyone looking for a roof replacement

Emailed for estimate and a phone call same day from Mike explaining what they would do. Had a estimate within 2 days. We did not shop around due to the company reputation and having other friends use them and their raves about 4 guys. Crew showed up and like clockwork roofing was removed and replaced as stated in estimate and cleaned up was done by crew and dumpster was removed on the day they were finished. Very pleased with work done. Thanks to Mike and the 4 guys crew!!!!

The team arrived on the day scheduled and worked very hard all day. They kept me informed and asked questions when they thought there was a conflict. My contact with supervision at all levels was excellent. Ideas were discussed and reasons explained thoroughly. The clean up was done very well, with the yard put back like it was before they came.

Late March weather in Michigan is unpredictable. 4 Guys had 2 excellent crews completing the job in 2 days. Very thorough clean up each day with no damage to extensive landscaping. near the home. Cost was very competive, no one could meet their price. Normally when you accept the low bid, you get less than acceptable work, NOT WITH 4 GUYS. 4 Guys being on Angie's list and also being an Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor was assuring.

These guys are quick and do great work. I e-mailed for a quote and got a call back right away. Steve came out shortly after to give my roof an assessment. He quoted me a fair price. I called to let them know I wanted to hire them for the job and Steve was back out within a few days to take care of it. Since the repair we've had heavy wind and rain, a good test for the roof. Happy to say the roof passed the test. I will hire again as needed. Solid, LOCAL, company.

4 Guys was professional, efficient and integral in working with me during this large investment in my home.

Great job. Estimate process was easy. No pressure tactics, and even the integrity not to sell us a metal roof we inquired about when 50 year shingles were as good. Punctual and professional service. Workers did damage one seedling with equipment, but we are sure they honestly didn't see it.

While the quality of the work seems to be really good, everything else with the job has been completely dis-satisfactory. - Once accepting the quote, radio silence for weeks. I had to reach out continuously to ask for updates on schedule. - A dumpster was delivered. I reached out to ask when work would begin and was told the dumpster was actually a week early. - A second dumpster was delivered. Work still didn't begin that day. Shingles were delivered and put in the roof. At no point was the product shown to us - the first time we saw it somewhere other than a computer screen was when it was being nailed down. It was lighter than we anticipated and we would have selected another color had we known. - The following day, a crew of 2 tore off less than 1/3 of the roof - The next day, finally a full crew showed up. Full tearoff and maybe 30%-40% installation of the new shingles. - Saturday arrives. Text the office to see if anyone is showing up. No one does. See a 4 guys and roof truck go by. About an hour later, 2 guys show up (at about 11 AM). Work continues until 7 PM on a Saturday but the work is finally completed. - At one point on Saturday, 2 more senior members showed up to (I assume) review the work being done and help clean up. An argument between the crews ensued including shouting that could be heard inside and use of profane language - Cleanup was insufficient. Cigarette butts everywhere and a massive amount of nails left In summary, the work is good but the customer service was pretty lousy.

Flawless execution. At the appointed time, the shingle truck showed up, followed by the dumpster. At the same time, the Crew Leader, Rick and his team started assembling. Rick introduced himself and explained what was going to happen and reassured me that a leak issue I had would be taken care of. Once they decided on a plan of action, they attacked the roof and had the job done in two and a half days, with a day break in the middle due to rain. The rain was not an issue as the roof was done in sections, watertight, and protected at all times. As a fairly old roof, the team replaced 13 sheets of plywood and rebuilt a saddle near the chimney which had been constructed incorrectly and was the source of a leak we had. Rick documented these issues with photographs and communicated them to me prior to repair. In doing so, any additional cost above the original estimate was expected, and reasonable. At the end of work each day, the site was cleaned, debris removed, tools stowed and ready for the next day. In speaking with the crew, I was impressed with their enthusiasm, pride in their work and professionalism. Finally, while most of us can find more pleasant things to spend a large chunk of money on, I feel the value we received was worth the price. This clearly begins with Mike, the owner. From my first conversation with him through completion, Mike was responsive, patient, knowledgeable, forthcoming and transparent regarding the service he provides. Given that, his high rate of accepted estimates (estimates done seamlessly with no meetings or inconvenience, by satellite technology, I might add), is no surprise. Put simply, he's easy to get hold of, easy to talk to, and I am confident that when he says call him anytime, they stand behind their work - he means it. As a result, I would use 4 Guys again, and will recommend them to any who ask.
