"American Professional Chimney installed a gas fireplace that is both beautiful (looks like a real wood fireplace) and warm. They installed a gasline that was done a very professional way, burying the line underground. Stephen and his team did an impeccable job, clearly explaining the pros and cons of the many options. Super happy with the service."

"Chimney experts was very professional in both scheduling and the job. Al was very thorough to not only look at the chimney, but also to stay with me until we had fully built a fire and had it burning long enough to run a full test of the appliance. Would highly suggest for inspection and installation- they know the business well."

"It went very well. Dan and Dennis were fun and professional and a joy to have in the house. They kept the house clean and double checked before they left. We can now use our fireplace without the unpleasant smoke smell that accompanied having a fire. The draw is excellent now and the smoke guard undoubtedly helped!"

"Wow! Amazing service. I must've called 8 different places in a panic trying to get the brick mounts which hold the mantel removed from my old fireplace so the surface could be prepped for a new TV. Seemed like an easy task (I thought), but it was a little more meticulous than I thought. I called this team and they arrived same day! Incredible customer service and expertise. Not only did they return the day after providing an estimate and remove the brick mounts, they actually re-fabricated the brick to make the holes disappear! This team knows their stuff!! I was so impressed that in the Spring I'd like them to come and do some masonry work for me. Highly recommend. They really are committed to doing good work and meeting the needs of their customer Special thanks for seeing to my issue before my TV install. We are ready for the Superbowl!!"

"We hired American Deck & Patio to build out a patio under our existing deck, as well as a grill/bar island and fire pit with surround seating. Sean and his group did a great job. From the beginning, Sean was very thorough in describing how the project would proceed. He kept us updated on the status during the job, and was responsive to any questions/issues we had. He also was helpful in providing suggestions where there was opportunity for enhancement, if desired. We enjoyed working with the company and are very happy with the outcome. We have received nothing but compliments on the resulting work done."

"Mr. Diaz and his crew did a fantastic job remodeling the old fireplace in my house, all the way from planning to the completion of the work. I could not have been happier with the final product, and the result matched exactly what I had hoped. The team was very patient and meticulous, and still delivered each step of the project with no delay. They gave particular attention to securing the work area and protecting the rest of the house from dirt and damage, and left the house in a clean and manageable condition at the end of each day. The price was fair, the contract was transparent and thorough, and the payment was easy. I strongly recommend Mr. Diaz and his team, and am planning to continue to work with them for future projects around the house."

Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
