Initially hired someone else and they canceled at the last minute. Call Jose from DCHandyman on Monday, he came out on Tuesday and completed the job above my expectations at a more than reasonable price. Will definitely hire him again.

I claimed a deal for up to 4 hours of handyman service for $199.00. Jose Henriquez came to see the job and said he could do it. We set up a time for the service to be performed and he never showed up or called. I called him, he gave an excuse and set up another time. Again he was a no show and never called me.

Jose was a "no show" for handyman services we scheduled for 8:30 am today. Like the previous reviewer (6/3/21), I have not received a call from him (2 1/2 hours later.) Such a waste of my day and time. I guess the $199 deal he advertises, is not really a deal. I definitely would not hire or recommend his services.

The DC Handyman was never responsive. Contacted them twice, and still no response although they advertised for these services. If they are unable to respond to "deals" they post. Chances are the services are not ideal. I will not hire going forward.

This project went great. Jose sent a worker over, Johnathan. Johnathan arrived on time, explained the best way to do my various tasks and then got to work. He ran into a couple of issues based on my home setup that we couldn't see until he opened my wall. He was able to do a nice workaround without any problems. I am very pleased with his work and knowledge and plan to hire again for a few other projects.

I've tried other handyman services in the area with little success in finding quality service and a fair price. I received both from DC Handyman, quality work at a fair price. Kitchen and Bath Remodeling
In the showers there was grout that was starting to come loose and he just put caulking over the grout. I could have done that myself. I asked him about paint in my stairwell. He told I could not just paint over it so he sanded the paint off my wall without asking me. Then he caulked between two wood planks in my floor. The boards are now pulling up where he caulked. I can see that the boards are now separating. I tried to pull the caulk out and it is making it separate and rise. It seems like the caulk is very hard almost like cement
