They were able to update the existing system and integrate it with their new parts and technology. The installation went flawlessly. She analyzed our home environment and provided an excellent proposal. UGSS was able to incorporate a manual bypass system that was part of our original security system. Ultra Guard updated the firmware on both of my units and found a feed wire from the modem to the dvr that was frayed, replaced the wire and ran it where the same thing wouldn't happen again and got me up and running. Previous company that did the installation wanted to replace my unit. Also made some suggestions that improved the proformance for viewing the cameras on my monitor. Would highly recommend.

I’ve been very pleased with my alarm system. The installation was easy and the equipment is expandable and can be customized to the needs of your home. I like that I receive notifications whenever the system is armed or disarmed or if there’s a power outage and the convenience of the remote monitoring from my phone or computer. Customer service has always been very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They will go the extra mile to help you and try to resolve issues over the phone whenever possible to save you a service call. I didn’t think I wanted or needed a security system, but I love having the peace of mine. One of the best investments you can make. First class company, I highly recommend UGSS.

Fantastic! They were clear as to why they proposed what they did, were thorough and careful in the work and timely and considerate in their dealings with us. We had a bit of discussion with our HVAC person about which thermostat to use and they were flexible and accommodating in dealing with him as well. First-rate all around. I have already recommended them to other people.

Very professional staff with a lot of knowledge, not just a big Company that will not be available after they make the sale. Company is always available to help with any issues with the alarm, even late at night. Very happy with the choice I made.

The installation went pretty smooth, they did a good job in hiding the wires and trying to make it look as clean as possible for a house that was not setup for this type of wiring. They avoided going into the attic, which made the installation much faster. I wanted the least conspicuous cameras in the front of the house due to my HOA architecture requirements, so I went with their "bullet" cameras (2) and (2) of their traditional speco tube cameras. The software for the cameras is average, I think there is better software out there from other commercial cameras, but the plus side is that there is no annual fee for accessing the live feed from speco servers. They do not encrypt their transmission, so if you don't care about "others" watching your feed, then you are good to go. The receiving box for the internal recording is pretty rudimentary, but it works, plus it has a key to get into the electrical boards and hard drive. One thing to note is that you should request to see what the entirety of the camera components will look like on your house! I was surprised when I saw a gray metal box behind the small bullet cameras outside the house, it looked like a fine camera with an ugly radioshack metal box behind it, it was obvious that it was not made together by the manufacturer. The Good News! they came back right away to change the ugly metal boxes with another two tube cameras. Customer service is awesome.

We have used Ultraguard for over 20 yrs. Many of the same people still work there - Andy is a fabulous installer. He recently upgraded our system panel. After the upgrade, we had a major water leak but didn't know it until the water alarm sounded - the alarm prevented a significant amount of damage.

Andy responded on a late night weekend call to help stop alarming after a power outage. The office called the next business day to schedule a repair call (Andy again). Very knowledgable.

We had a very positive experience with Ultra Guard. Scheduling was quick and easy and they showed up on time for the schedule appointment. The work was quick and professional and at a fair price. The install tech also took some extra time to explain how things work and wrote down some key notes for future reference.
