"A really great company to work with that also delivers an excellent product and craftsmanship. Our project was over $31,000 so we were quite conerned about getting the job done correctly. Jim the owner was very professional and kept us updated on the project at all times. Victor and Victor's crew were extremely hardworking and so pleasant to work with. We had a two story deck replaced along with replacing and moving the deck stairs. Jim's company was the only one that could plan out the move the deck stairs without compromising the rest of the deck and patio below. Also installed privacy fence, replaced front porch stairs and added some small hardscape. This is my first review on Angie's List as I felt it so important to give praise where it is rightfully due."

"Xtracare completely changed our patio experience with a stacked retaining wall and a porcelain paver patio that we selected. Our lot is difficult to manage as it slopes towards the back of the house. Their design ideas are excellent and we worked together to plan this well and select materials. They also did an amazing job to control water runoff with a roof drainage system and yard regrading. The office communicates well. The crew was here on time every day and did an amazing job and finished the project on-time and within the budget. A project manager was assigned to us and was very responsive. I would hire them again for sure. Highly recommended."

"We contracted with Ms. Lily and the MA Landscaping team to redo our back patio on Capitol Hill in DC. The original patio had a dilapidated fence, an uneven brick floor, and overgrown shed. The moment that Ms. Lily stepped into the space, she had a vision for safeguarding the historic nature of the patio while integrating a modern look. She was receptive to our ideas and offered her own, which allowed us to come to a great combined vision. She didn't try to oversell us or pressure us into taking dramatic, expensive changes that weren't important to us. Throughout the project, Ms. Lily was hands-on, responsive, and receptive. The work was completed in 2 weeks. Her workers were friendly and when unexpected developments arose, they quickly sought our input as well as hers. Promised line item estimates with different options. in 2013 put in a flagstone walk with brick edging, a fire pit and patio for about $15,000. Done on time and in budget."

Several other companies recommended ripping out the existing patio entirely and replacing it with concrete pavers that are easier (than natural stone) to install. Pro Landscapes was able to maintain the existing base and curvature of the old patio and install new flagstones. They also installed an extension. Would definitely recommend."

"We had a small deck and were given advice to replace it with a patio to both save money and expand the space. We had been thinking about what to do for several years and kept speaking with contractors who were more interested in selling us what they wanted rather than what we wanted or needed. The steps out the door are wide and look great. When the work was being done I noticed some small adjustments we wanted, and he accommodated the changes without complaint and with only slight adjustments in costs to cover additional expenses (like railing for the basement steps). "We needed a new walkway (or patio) to connect our front porch to the garage (to replace the original quartz stone, board, & flagstone design), a new front porch (since the boards were rotting), and we needed the EverGrain Composite Decking of our back deck power-washed and stained. Deckmaster was the only contractor who could do all three jobs, and the finished product on all three was great, and they gave us a great price. They redid the stairs on the back deck and gave us an extra step on the front porch, both of which we really like. Deckmaster was patient while we got our homeowner's association to approve the design, and they were very responsive and reasonable every step of the way. I'd definitely hire them again and highly recommend."
