"I contacted Brothers Pavers for an estimate to upgrade my patio. Jose came out and did some measurements, asked a few questions and I received a written quote within 24/48 hours. The quote was a little more than I was looking to spend, so Jose came back out a few days later to discuss the project and I adjusted the scope of work to reduce costs. Let me just say, the process from beginning to end has been nothing but pleasant. I was informed every step of the way. David let me know when the materials were ordered and placed me on the schedule when my materials came in early, Jose and his crew were able to start the job earlier than anticipated. These guys were fast and efficient, they cleaned up after themselves and the finished product looks like a work of art. Seriously... my new patio is absolutely gorgeous. The team of Jose went above and beyond and even did extra things like burying my drain downspout and curving the edges of the patio border so the new patio flowed with my existing pergola. A+ product and service. I can honestly see why it is that Brothers Pavers has all of these 5-star reviews. They are truly well deserved. "We had an excellent experience working with Mike Erickson and his team from DC Patio. They removed the old concreate patio at the back of our house and installed a new large flagstone patio. They installed a new front stoop and a new front walkway. They performed a new drainage installation. They installed new footings for the deck posts and added decorative gravel under the deck area. They improved the back lawn grading. The quality of job is great. We highly recommend Mike and his team."

We had been thinking about what to do for several years and kept speaking with contractors who were more interested in selling us what they wanted rather than what we wanted or needed. "When I called HL Design, I spoke with Catherine. We set an appointment for the next day. Dave, the owner, came out and I showed him exactly what I wanted. He recommended Nicolock Pavers for the patio I wanted. Before he left, I had a detailed proposal that was not only fair, but included everything that would be done. I hired him on the spot. NO BS! Straightforward and honest. Dave and his awesome crew came out 8 days later and completed our patio in one day. Let me tell you, Dave's crew took an ugly space under our deck in the back of our townhouse, that wouldn't grow grass, and transformed it into a thing of beauty. Over the past year and a half, we have had quite a few major projects done in our house. This one, by far, was the most pleasurable one. "We had a flagstone patio done by First Impression and are very happy with the quality of their work and their professionalism. 
The person we worked with mainly, Dustin, was extremely helpful. He explained the pros and cons of different materials and drew up a design for the patio based on our conversation about what I wanted. Dustin was also very responsive by email when we had questions.
Our work was scheduled for 6-8 weeks after we had confirmed we wanted to contract with First Impressions since they had several jobs booked before us, but once they started, they completed it in 3 days as promised. The workmanship is truly excellent, we're very happy with the final product. A couple of the stones had tool marks on them and when I mentioned it they had someone come out a couple days later to replace the defective stones. One of the stones that they replaced was not quite flush and they fixed that too.
They also put in some steppers leading to our fence and a concrete pad for a shed, both of which turned out perfectly. We ended up paying exactly the estimate and were very happy that there weren't any hidden costs. 
Overall, we had a very good experience and I highly recommend them.

"They did a difficult job well. They replaced our old patio with new pavers, expanding it to come to both sets of steps on our deck. They installed new French drains and dried creek bed, going around or under previous drains. They extended the drains from the roof to join the drain to the road. They poisoned and removed invasive plants. Due to the lateness of the year, it is a little too early to see how well the new French drain will work longer term or removal of invasive plants, but it's good so far and it looks good! The price was good and they worked hard and quickly."

"We were able to pick up the type of fence and patio we wanted. They were very nice and timely, but in their design there were several structural things that did not make sense based on what other people had done. They were the cheapest. I went to get a quote from them because I found them on Angie's List. They kind of recommended using material that was like cheaper. I told them I wanted a walk that was like inside the gait, but they said that they actually could not do."
