They replaced them with high quality boards and coated the entire deck, support beams, and posts with a solid stain. I found LFC to be a very professional company that does quality work. They provided good advice on how best to achieve the results I desired. They were timely and kept me apprised of what was going on. "I admit I haven't used this service yet.  That said, I was impressed enough with the estimate to give them a positive review.  I sought an estimate on relatively minor work -the person who did the estimate actually suggested that I not use the service because the work wouldn't warrant the minimum charge ($600).  He was surprisingly, refreshingly honest & aimed to be helpful.  In a town where it seems the vast majority of service providers are crooks, this caught me by surprise.
They are going to give me another estimate on replacing kitchen countertops with granite (something they are very enthusiastic & knowledgeable about doing (& again, not trying to sell me for as much as they can-he made a point of saying the counters are a priority but the cabinets are actually in pretty good shape).  I find these services from other Angies list members & then I rate the ones I like well-so I may just be preaching to the choir.. I hope this is helpful nonetheless.
