"This complete renovation of a small bathroom went well for the most part. Staff were respectful and considerate. They were not as tidy as I would have liked but it was a small space in which to work and store tools and products. Some details should have been settled before work began, such as finding a replacement door, and change orders were not submitted before the changes were started, though staff did get verbal approval before changes were started. The final product is a fantastic new bathroom that shows superb attention to detail."

"We selected DMV based on our previous experience with the company, starting with Rolando who successfully remodeled our kitchen and 3 baths back in 2015. This time we had an emergency and Javier responded quickly, asking his men to remove a cracked tub and demolish the surrounding tiles. In their place they installed a new tub and plumbing plus beautiful new tiles for the surrounding wall, adding 2 grab bars, one for the tub and the other for the Master shower to prevent our slipping and falling. They cleaned the grout in our Master shower and Hall tub, applied silicone and sealant, and painted the baseboard and wall near the tub. Aside from the work in the bathroom and shower, they replaced the screen in an exterior window, secured some areas in the garage ceiling with screws, and removed, painted and reinstalled our exterior shutters. During the early, uncertain days of the Pandemic when we were nervous to have anyone do remodeling inside our house, we asked Javier to do some work outdoors. He ordered a wood storage shed from Home Depot and it was delivered to our front yard without telling anyone. The DMV men unpacked the box and discovered some necessary parts were missing so returned to Home Depot to buy them. They leveled the slope in our backyard and set the foundation for the shed. Then they added shingles, windows, doors, and a ramp. They painted the outside of the shed and added a ramp, selecting a sturdier paint for the latter. They installed a screen all around the bottom edge of the shed to provide ventilation and keep the animals out. Finally they moved the items to be stored from our garage to the new shed, opening up more space in the garage for the remodeling of the 1st and 2nd floors of our house. The workmen skillfully disassembled and/or moved furniture, file cabinets, supplies, and 100s of books and other items to different locations in the house and garage. Then they installed new lighting: 53 recessed lights, 9 dimmers, and a new electrical outlet near the vanity. When a bookcase was added on the right side of my new digital organ they moved the organ to the left along with 2 recessed lights shining above the organ to more effectively illuminate the music rack. And finally they installed a special circuit breaker for the organ. They installed cabling for 3 internet connections to the computer network giving access to the basement, living room, and 2nd floor. They installed the wiring for electrical power to 3 printers, one on each floor. Next they replaced our carpet with beautiful hardwood floors in 7 rooms, a small hallway, and a stairway. They removed 5 single doors on the 2nd floor and replaced them with solid core doors. They installed and painted 2 bi-folding doors for our utility closets. They painted the walls in 7 rooms, a small hallway, and a stairway first removing wallpaper in one room and 2 wall borders. They took special care in the den, repairing one wall and a big hole in the ceiling before painting. They did a great job of painting the ceilings, touching up 4 textured ceilings and smoothing out 3 others in a more elaborate process that included repairing drywall and removing texture, preparing the ceiling for painting, and then actually painting it. They installed and painted shoe molding in 7 rooms. And last but not least they repaired bathroom door frame and painted the nearby wall and a baseboard that had some paint splotches from a previous job. The DMV workmen did some additional jobs not related to repairing and painting walls and ceilings, or installing hardwood floors. The installed 5 smoke detectors, 7 curtain rods, a new Bosch dishwasher, and new blinds to replace blinds accidently damaged. They caulked a bathtub, cleaned grout in a shower and caulked the area near its door. In order to prevent heavy bookcases from toppling over they secured 10 bookcases to the wall. And in a final visit they even tightened screws in the kitchen cabinets installed by the previous DMV contractor. "I'm an absentee landlord. The tenant called and said water was leaking from around the chandler in the living room. I hired Bledar and crew based on a recommendation from a realitor. Turns out the plumbing behind the bathtub on an upper floor had corroded. My house is in Old Town Alexandria and has a lot of deferred maintenance. Bledar come over the next day and removed part of the living room ceiling and walls in the bath. It was pretty bad. He recommend a full renovation. He worked with the tentant and together they visited various stores to pick out tile, fixtures ... It turned out great!!! So good that I immediately hired him to renovate a 2nd bath which was also leaking and an adjoining area. Again he went with the tenant and handled all of the details. I can't recommend Bledar enough! Spectacular work, friendly, fast, diligent and very reasonably priced (I had 2 other contractors price the work). He cleaned up everything after each demo and handled all of the details involved with a complete bath remodel down to the studs - including new sub flooring in one of the bath. Couldn't be happier with Bledar and his crew's (including his brother) work ethic and results! By the way - I have never met Bledar, I live in CA."

"Excellent. This was a major remodel of a master bathroom. Walls were moved, a huge jacuzzi tub was taken out and everything was gutted. A larger shower was constructed and a stand alone bathtub replaced the jacuzzi tub. Daniel Frias was the project manager. He was very responsive, pleasant and ensured we were happy with the work. The crew chief, Juan was a perfectionist and did great work. He continuously asked us where and how we wanted items placed."

"On the recommendation of a neighbor, my husband and I engaged Charles Graves Painting to paint our home's stucco and wood trim exterior. After a color consultation with Ana (she's incredibly helpful!), a power washing, and a few minor repairs, the painting began on September 10th. Our project manager was Ricardo. He was clear about everything that was planned and was responsive to our questions and concerns. Ask for him, you won't be disappointed. He's easy to talk with and very adept at what he does. Beside an excellent job of creating a silky smooth surface on our front and back entry doors, he did an excellent job replacing the kick plate under the back door. The other members of the crew were all friendly and they worked carefully to limit any damage to our numerous foundation plants. We are extremely pleased with the outcome. It was worth the cost and we would absolutely hire them again!"

"Who writes reviews before the work is done?  I do, because of REO ServicePro owner Gary Golman's responsiveness.  I needed all the smoke detectors in my home replaced because they were 15-years old and I just learned they should have been replaced after 10 years.  I already bought replacements and just needed them installed because once I got into the job, no amount of YouTube tutorials could help me through.  I called Gary, but when I sounded confused discussing the job with him, he offered to stop by to check out the task. Turns out I purchased the wrong detectors.  I was still clueless, so Gary offered to go to Home Depot with me (this was at the end of the day mind you) to help me get the right ones.  
Gary will come by tomorrow afternoon to replace all the units.  I'm confident the job will be done right - which wouldn't have happened if I had continued on the path to do them myself.  It'll be one less household task to worry about.  After tomorrow I'll be able to sleep through the night without my smoke detectors chirping for me to change them out.
