Unlimited Removal and Demolition - to drain, cut up, & remove old oil tank; abate asbestos from, and remove, old boiler; remove oil filler pipes & patch foundation with cement 2. Boxford Chimney Sweep - to run a new flue liner and install a new stainless steel chimney cap We hired J.Griffin Heating & Plumbing to disconnect an ancient "snowman-style" oil-fueled steam boiler with attached "instant" water heater, and replace it with a gas boiler & free-standing gas water heater. Fast. Efficient. Clean. Pleasant & willing to answer all of our questions. All 3 companies provided very high quality experiences! I would hire any/all of them again. "My home is heated with forced hot water and the boiler failed late on a Friday night during a cold snap. Dennis responded immediately, visited first thing in the morning, found the boiler I selected and was back on Monday, finishing the job by dinner time. The boiler, piping, etc was beautifully installed and cleanup was thorough, all for much less than I had been previously quoted. BNM is my new go to, and when my drain clogged a month later Dennis and co came through for us, clearing the pipe at the source, installing a garbage disposal, and fixing a leaky toilet while they were there. He is the best plumber I’ve ever hired, and very pleasant to work with too. Highly recommended."

"From the start of the project of the response, time of less than 15 minutes of receiving a phone call, The tech, Steve Unger, was here within a few hours and was able to get my AC unit temporarily running to get me through the week until we could schedule a replacement. Steve was amazing.! then I was greeted with a visit with Manny who sold me on the value of HL Bowman partnering unit with Home Depot made by Honeywell. It was much more cost-effective and seems to be doing a tremendous job at cooling my very tough A-frame situation at my condo. Chris and Jake were the install personnel that worked very efficiently and had the unit up and running within five hours. They also were very personable and took tremendous care of my needs. Lastly, I had a follow up the day after it was installed with Jesse who did a fabulous job inspecting and making sure the unit was running efficiently and properly as well as his knowledge of showing me proper thermostat settings. "The installers seemed to be quite knowledgeable and professional. They concentrated on doing the lob, were thorough and pleasant. They answered all questions to my satisfaction. Everything was done on time and all equipment and workers arrived on schedule. They were careful not to create any excess dust during the installation and did a good job of cleaning up when the work was done. In spite of the attic temperature being well over 80 degrees, they worked continuously and finished on schedule. I would recommend Airco Home Comfort Services to anyone who is looking for a high quality, professional job. They demonstrated the technical knowledge and engineering capabilities to evaluate the job and to select the right equipment for my requirements, more so than several other providers were able to do. I was not looking for the least expensive job, but for the best engineering capabilities for a fairly large house with a good sized, north facing sun room and many windows.

"UIC was quick to respond and come up with the quote. Quote was very competitive against others. They were not so eager to do service on my old water heater though (I asked them to replace anode rods). I decided to go with them since their availability was good (2wks) and ratings on AngiesList were excellent while price was competitive. The job went well, though not without hiccups. I was expecting new boiler to be placed on the wall next to the foundation; though they built a new wall in the middle of the mechanical room, which costed me space; they said it will be 3K more to put in on the wall AFTER they arrived on the job with all the equipment and team. They refused to drain old water from my radiant heat system, saying I need a plumber to come for $290 per hour for 4 hours to drain the system and look for preexisting leaks. Had to hire some other plumber who took care of the problem for $215 in a mere hour. After the project was complete, system started to experience leaks. It was due to new drain connector that they decided to use for this project, and I was apparently first customer for it. After 3 unsuccessful attempts to fix the leak, they had to replace the connector, which addressed the issue. In addition, the system was eligible for rebate; however the rebate amount promised ended up being $450 less than actually paid; they quoted natural gas rebate though my system was on propane, which I told them upfront."

"Our Burnham boiler has been giving us issues this winter after just purchasing the new house over the summer. We've come home a number of times to no heat and a cold house, but had luckily managed to YouTube our way into figuring out fixes. This time unfortunately we couldn't figure it out and needed to search for an HVAC contractor. Green Energy was the first company I could even get to answer my call. At 9am Melissa was able to set me up with a day of appointment, Terry was at our house by 1pm. Since this boiler type is still new to us, Terry was great with explaining the workings of the equipment, and just some general tips for upkeep. It ended up being a simple fix with a loose relay, however I would of never been able to figure that out on my own. Terry ended up also doing a general servicing and cleaning of the unit, which they recommend annually to help the equipment last longer (we're positive the previous owners never did it). I would highly recommend Terry, he was knowledgeable and overall good guy. We also plan to sign up for their annual membership program and use Green Energy moving forward."
